A good review

Likes

First thing that I liked in the clg is that teachers are good with students
Second thing that I liked is no ragging is happening in our college
Third and the last thing that I liked is sports

Dislikes

First thing that I dislike in my college is a lot of outsiders come in our college
Second thing that I dislike is sometimes they don't allow us to play sports
Third and the last thing that I dislike is there must be a canteen in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 8.5 out of 10.I know that it is a difficult course but we have to study. The timing of the exams are quite well both the times minor as well as major and the also give time to prepare that exams

College life

Likes

The teachers of this colllege is very good they have polite behaviour towards the children. They provide very good lectures to us and do linit checking in the colllege
I like the ground area as it has a banyan tree
I like the uniform of the college It is very classy

Dislikes

Toilets are not clean and hygienic and smelly as well
The classes are not clean. Many insects roam in the class
Principal is. Not polite everyday makes new rules and never listen go the childrrm

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many circular activities in the college we have a picnic once in a year our college gave us farewell and fresher. Some enjoys cricket basket ball. Volleyball and tennis. I personally enjoy the poster making and table tennis

My college Details

Likes

Teacher clear every doubts of students properly
Every were there is greenre lots of plants and trees are planted
Tody staff of college organizers including library for study

Dislikes

A single washroom for boys make problem and not clean regularly
Not proper clean of college park class ground and surrounding
Poor parking facilities with poor infrastructure

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exam time are not bad according to seasons like in winter this is 2 pm and in summer this will be 10 am I choose bcom to get knowledge about accounts statistics economy and business for future plans

Likes

The administration of the college is on the better side than the previous one.
Campus area is sort of large, allowing one to roam freely and inhale the aesthetics of college.
The faculty is very experienced and aces of their respective fields.

Dislikes

The hostel requires more furnishing and improvement.
The nursing and paramedical staff require more conditioning.
The college can use more lab and practical framework.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is structured to provide an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and clinical practices. The inclusion of subjects like community medicine influenced my decision as it connects theory with societal healthcare needs. Clinical rotations offer exposure to patient care. These experiences bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application. Exams include internal assessments and final university exams. The difficulty level is moderate to high.

everything is nice

the campus of the college is nice and open
University of the colleges near the college
staff is very helpful curriculum is also good

Dislikes

sometime there is a delay in taking classes
we have 100 students per section and there are at least 5-6 sections and BCom
the college needs renovation desk and building is too old

Placement Experience:

yes college provide many placements related to in banks this year ICIC bank came for the placements in our college and many student got placement in that Bank I want to purse you for the PG after my degree

Review of GCET Jammu

Likes

Campus is very nice and beautiful with greenary everywhere
Library is very nice and quiet with lots of books
Faculties are nice with students and help them anytime they need it

Dislikes

Classes are not well maintained and needs repairs
Some faculties are not very nice with students .
Condition of bathrooms are not very nice and is ignored by management

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am from mechanical branch because I like it since I was a child and my parents also supported my decision. The labs and workshops here are also nice for learning and gaining experience. The exams are like once every month.

College life and experience

Likes

less number of girls , which help us to concentrate on studies
Student are very concentrated towards studies
senior are very good as they tell us about the things that going on

Dislikes

the college is at back side less things opportunity
some of the teachers are very crucial towards children
one of the greatest fact is to stay far away from our home

Placement Experience:

The government college of engineering is very best in placement cells average package is 24lkh it sufficient form the college location. Percentage of college placement is 85 percentage and very good placement offers

Honest review of GCET Jammu

Likes

The college is situated far away from the city so it has quiteness and green scenery
The architecture of buildings of the college is also very nice
as it is situated very far away from city so air here is very fresh and I like it very much

Dislikes

The canteen of college is very cheap here is nothing good to eat
The girl and boy ratio in my branch is 10:0 . because there is no girl in our branch .all the class is full of boys only . So there is no motivation to attend classes regularly.
The mechanical branch of this college is very bad because in mechanical branch there is no girl and hate that

Placement Experience:

The placement here is very poor. There students rarely got placet . Rather then if they got placed they didn't get good packages .the companies that visit here for providing placement are local companies.my plan is that I want to pursue higher studies after this

An honest review about GCET Jammu

Likes

Campus is quite beautiful with greenary everywhere.
There is a different library block where students can study in peace.
Distance between Hostel and college is like a 2 minutes walk unlike other colleges

Dislikes

Classroom are not well maintained and needs repairs
Some faculties are nice and good but some of them are very rude and self centred
There's almost no extra curricular activities for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am a E&C student I used to love electronics and was always curious how these things works that's why I chose this course. The labs here are nice but still have some faults like defective instruments. The frequency of exams are like in every month with mediocre difficulty level.

The indepth review of GCET jammu

Likes

The first thing that I like most about this college is its natural scenery and quietness of this place
The second thing that I like most is the architecture of the buildings of this college . The architecture is pure art
The third thing that I like is the holy places around this college

Dislikes

There is no sport facilities in this college they even don't have any proper playground
There are very less girls in this college. In our class there are only 9 girls out of 60 students and in mechanical branch there is no girl.
The canteen of this college is very poor there is no proper thing here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The only thing that I like about the curriculum of the course that I choose is its demand In the upcoming time . There are many things in this college that requires improvement such as labs of this college and they also need to improve there syllabus and make it more practical then theory only . The frequency and timing of exams are unexpected.
