MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE: A COMPLETE REVIEW OF DOGRA COLLEGE

One thing I really like about this college is that the teachers pay good attention to the students. They don’t allow students to bunk classes and are strict, but they teach very well. It never feels like I did not gain anything productive from their
Another thing I like is that the student crowd here comes from well-known and respectable backgrounds and the ratio of girls is to boys are 1:2
The third thing is that the uniform — black with grey stripes in between, paired with a black tie, white shirt with the logo, and blazer — looks very classy.

Dislikes

What I do not like about this college is that the infrastructure is not very good. Even after becoming autonomous, the infrastructure has still not improved much.
The second thing is that there is no privacy here due to the small campus.
The third thing is that the library has very limited resources. Many subject books are not available, although the library’s infrastructure itself is quite good.

Admission:

I first applied to Chan Univ and I passed the entry plus aid test. I took the seat too. But later I found that the campus is very far and the fee plan is very high. The aid did not help in a real way. It was only aid by name. Then I came to know of Dogra College. It is seen as good when we match it with other places in J and K. The study is also good. So I chose to take a seat there. Before, Jammu Univ was in charge of entry. But now the place has self rule. So seat is on a first come first serve plan. One who comes first gets the seat. If not, then there are mgmt seats. For entry, you only need to pass from your study line. Before, seat was based on CUET score. But now, as it has self rule, CUET is not a must. Now seat is given with no CUET need.

Delay in schedule and programmes sometimes.
Lack of efficiency in the productivity in campus
Absence of membership of good quality journals that required for research

Admission:

I applied for DU as well as IIM but Jammu University campus is affordable and nearby to me. I got rejection from IIM as I was in waiting list. To take admission in JU, you must apply for PhD and then have registration after completing course work.

the college enviroment is good as you will get some copetition from students who are willing to get placed.
Ground was big for playing cricket and football
Amazing labs for experiments in each engineering

Dislikes

Not well maintained parks for students and teacher
Parking issue was there for students .
Not proper drainage system available at the college

I choose this college because its the best and number 1 college of engineering at jammu and kashmir . I got the admission through jkcet enterance exams in 2nd round of Counselling. I didn't got any rejection from other college because i didn't applied in other college.

I wanna go for other college but due to my late admission I hadn't attempted there My college is very best as compared to others maybe because I'm studying here from last almost 3 years. There is no canteen in kishtwar campus university of jammu
Infrastructure of kishtwar campus university of jammu is not good

I applied in GGM science College and smvdu but I did not opted to go there with my further studies because the college was very near to my home. Yes I got a rejection from GGM science College has I could not hit the merit score there. The admission process in my college was very good and was conducted properly the eligibility was with 55% pass marks in 12th standard
