Jammu University Result 2024 has been Released for UG, PG semester Examinations on Aug 06, 2024 at the official website. Students can check the results online at coeju.com by entering roll no or the candidates’ name. 

The candidates must obtain the minimum qualifying marks required for clearing in the Jammu university exam. The candidates who passed in all the exams will be promoted to next semester. 

Candidates should check the total marks scored in the scorecard. The varsity will provide the exam mark sheet to the candidates at the end of the semester. After the declaration of the results, student, if not satisfied with his/her results, can apply for the revaluation/totalling of the answer book. The request for the revaluation/totalling of the answer scripts is applicable for theory papers only.

How to check Jammu University Result 2024?

Students of Jammu University can find the results from the official website directly. The status of their result shall be declared with the total marks. Official marksheet will be released or provided to candidates later. 

Usually after 45 days of the examination, results get published on the official website. Students need to check at the relevant programs at the website. 

Follow the steps below to know how to find Jammu University Results:

Jammu University Marking and Grading Scheme 

Jammu University offers both CBCS and CBCS schemes for all of its programs. According to CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) the students will have a choice in selecting their own desired electives. 

The sum total of the credits allocated to the subject must be the minimum number of credit requirements for awarding the degree. If they completed the required minimum credit requirement considering their desired subjects, then only the will rewarded with the Degree. 

In case of NCBCS, there is no selection rights given to the students to opt for their own desired eectves.As suggested by the university, candidates will have to study the electives and upon completion they will be rewarded with the Degree. 

The grading system of Jammu University for each subject is allocated in letter grade and grade point as mentioned in the table below,

Jammu University Revaluation/Rechecking Process 2024

Students of Jammu University can apply for rechecking, revaluation if they have doubts in the marks they have scored by filling the online revaluation form. 

Revaluation Fee is INR 810/- per answer script. The application must be submitted within 10 days of the date of declaration of result. If submitted late, after 3 days of the last date, an extra penalty fee if INR 450/- has to be submitted. Fees submitted will be nonrefundable. 

Candidates must retain the hard copy / soft copy of the acknowledgement receipt of iodine fee payment for future purpose. 

Candidates under Disputed Eligibility, will have to submit a prescribed application form within the statutory period only. Candidates whose result is announced under ‘Later ON’ Category shall have to submit their re-evaluation form, at the University office at Jammu, if the due date has expired.

There is no implication of hard copy submission of the revaluation form, 

Revaluation procedure will be conducted by an independent examiner. The marks allotted shall stay final, irrevocable whether it is stated by the student as FAVOURABLE or UNFAVOURABLE. Students will not be allowed to challenge the revaluation result.

Students who are allotted with reappear for selected subjects can also apply for the revaluation. 

If the answer books of the students are found to be lost or tampered, then either;

  •  Refund of the full fee shall be made for the concerned answer script/s
  •  Re-examination of the particular paper will be done without payment of a fee. Students will have to make a consequent request through a letter to the administration.

Students of Jammu University who have been allotted a reappear will have to fill the application form for those particular subjects. 

Reappear fee for ONE paper is INR 1000/- and further papers would be Rs.1210/- . Candidates must submit it within the 15 days of declaration of result, Later to which. A fine of additional INR 240/- will be charged. AFter 30 days of the declaration, the penalty for late submission will increase to INR 390/- and INR 810 for 45 days.
