What Students Say

Likes

less number of girls , which help us to concentrate on studies
Student are very concentrated towards studies
senior are very good as they tell us about the things that going on

Dislikes

the college is at back side less things opportunity
some of the teachers are very crucial towards children
one of the greatest fact is to stay far away from our home

Course Curriculum Overview

It is located in isolated area which help to student to stay away from bad things like alcohol drugs etc placement cell is one of the best in our university penalty of time for pursuing your hobbies and interests

Class Size: 47Course Fees: INR 48000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Their are many Internship opportunities in different activities like tata , bmw and many other companies that provide internship in our college the good workers get selected in companies for good work

Placement Experience

The government college of engineering is very best in placement cells average package is 24lkh it sufficient form the college location. Percentage of college placement is 85 percentage and very good placement offers

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees of my institute is 50,000 And provide internship too . My college has many branch such as mechanical block ,civil block ,cse block ,e&c block , electrical too the best of one is mechanical engineering my college is very good at co curricular activities

Campus Life

College campus is very big and offers many aspects of placement infrastructure of our college is very good at co curricular activities And are very good at social group including their aspects of different activities

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is not good sometimes they serve well and some time they serve worst and the condition of my room is very bad not all facilities their are various games available in our campus like table tennis, badminton, cricket etc

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

It seems to be very happy to choose this college and first I am going to skuast Jammu but after the result of jkcet I choose GCET JAMMU till now I am there for my next four years studies and I am going to suffer

Faculty

All of the teachers in our faculty are extremely knowledgeable to improve our personality and Some of the teachers are very crucial towards children the children also behave them badly and after that to the students will suffer to back logs and supply

Night Life

First of all their is no gym at hostel although hostel is very big all students help eachother in different activities there is no proper canteen for students and teachers. Timing of college is 9am to 5 pm

My opinion about nit

Likes

I like the diversity and culture of college students come from all states each festival is celebrated with fun .
The infrastructure is good providing facilities like library, amphitheatre, auditorium etc.
I like college ground where we can walk and relieve from academics

Dislikes

College infrastructure can be improved in rainy season there is water accumulation at many places , water drainage system should be there .

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

Likes

One thing I liked about my college is Huge campus area.
Other thing l liked about my college is good infrastructure
Another thing I liked about my college is well experienced faculty

Dislikes

The thing I disliked about my college is delay in your any complain

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester. Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college. Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA . Almost 30 percent students get placement. My plan is to get off campus placement.

Likes

College's weather is too pleasant and the air quality is also good
The environment is also very good and also the view is very nice
Seniors are very friendly in college and also the college has strict punishment for ragging.

Dislikes

The hostel food is not upto the level that a student expect.
The facility sometimes does not able to connect with Students
Hostels are very far away from the department and students have to move very far from the hostel

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

A comprehensive Review

Likes

Firstally i like in my college is hostel it is located in college campus .
The second thing like in my college is campus area located in between mountain.
the last thing is about one teacher he help me in everything.

Dislikes

The first thing i do not like is transport in my college it is the major problem in my college.
The second thing is there are no proper lectures everyday one of them faculty is absent
The last thing is not a proper medical facielities

Placement Experience:

The placement at my college are fairly strong, with a focus on proving opportunities for student in both technical field and non-technical fields. various reputed companies visit our campus for placement like TCS, infosys, and many more.The highest package aroun INR 40 LPA. the majority of the offers are for cybersecurity. My plan is for business after the degree.

The faculties are top notch and very supportive and helpful
Campus life is good because it is very large campus area
We have isro and drdo in our campus which is a very good thing

the university is still under construction
their is limited access of resourses as it is under construction
