Overall the faculty at nit srinagar is good they provide us with good study material and they have average speaking skills we can understand their lectures easily jsnsnjdjdhdhshshhsjsjshhshshshshshshhshshshshhshshshshshshhshshdh
It has a beautiful campus and the best facilities the library has a huge amount of books and has free wifi speed like 100mbps.
In nit srinagar campus placement is very good many companies visit and they offer good packages highest packages in our college is 40-50 lpa that is good and many companis like tata hcl visits out college

Dislikes

Placements are very poor as only 20-30% students get placed with an average package of 6lpa!
Rapid development must has to present here which feels bad about this college.
There are no oncampus internships you have to find one your own and let college know about it.they put restrictions on everything and no proper leave is given for the internship facilities mentor you correctly and guide you

My view of My college

Likes

Campus location is very good and scenic,the mountains and dal is beautiful
Weekly time table especially for the cse students is very relaxed

Dislikes

Hostel accommodation for boys is very chaotic you have to share a room among 6 people
Boys to girl ratio is around 1:3 which is low

Placement Experience:

5th semester I don't know the exact figures but man companies visit our campus with average package of 10 lpa for CSE this year 40 lpa was the highest package and around 10-12 average Almost 60-70 percent students gets placed in CSE branch To get a job and gain some experience then switching to a higher paying job and settle

MY THOUGHTS ABOUT NIT SRINAGAR

Likes

less hectic schedule and curriculum and exam papers are easy.
We got approx 3 months of vacation instead of annual holiday.
Campus is beautiful because it is situated at bank of Dal lake and we seen beautiful scenery of mountains from the campus

Dislikes

Campus is small, sometimes it will regrate you.
Mess food is only average it only to alive for four years.
Hostel rooms are small and a small room have 5 students, very Very conjugated

On campus placement is not as good as we see from out side because mostly CSE and IT are placed not with high package. Package starts from 6lpa Ctc and goes to 21-20 lpa average some students got 34 , 54 lpa only few of them Core branches have very less placement ratio 5:80 For placement you have to learn from other sources if you totally dependent on institute then i will confirm we will not able to secure a 4 lpa placement.

NIT srinagar : A place signifying Majesty of nature and a ground for academic growth

Nature and scenic beauty is too good the peaceful environment it gives you is really soothing especially if you like this type of atmosphere around you then this place is definitely for you plus you can explore the tourist places around here
The academic environment is also pretty decent, teachers do focus on teaching ( although as with other college , the quality is somewhat questionable ) but still it is a nice place for your overall academic growth
The placements for CS / IT are pretty decent so this atleast gives you some level of security for your future combining this with the aspect of nature seemed as a deadly combination to me at my rank ...

Dislikes

There are a few good faculties but most are not...
The campus size is somewhat small and so that could be a negative factor for someone
The fest are not that big , they are decent enough for you to explore yourself but just not what you may expect

Placement Experience:

I think the students become eligible for placements after 6 th semester, if you are from CS / IT then you'll get enough opportunities for yourself... I know 8-9 seniors who have grabbed a pretty decent package from companies like Oracle If somehow you fail to get recruited on campus then i guess the off campus option is open for all I am pretty satisfied with the placement record atleast for IT The percentage placement for this year CSE was 51 considering recession part this seems good to me

Diverse culture: People from different states are here that provide a diverse culture for civilans.
Faculty behavior: Faculty behavior and interaction is very friendly and nice . Many expert Faculty are available here.
Beautiful scenery Beautiful scenery in campus itself is seen it is one of the most beautiful nit.

Dislikes

Less availability of pure non veg food. As many non vegetarian people are here in srinagar vegetarian people find a problem in finding pure veg restaurants.
Mess food Mess food is not that good to be appreciated. Moreover i feel the charges are much higher than quality.
Srrict timings to be followed in campus. Girls timings are strictly followed without any failure.

We will enjoy the snow falling here and we enjoy nature

Street food is one of the major dislike i feel
there auto fare ans other transportation fare is very high

The placement statistics in 2023 the total job offers for all courses is around 724 and the total students are 668. The comanies visited in our clg are Relience,HP, Indian Oil,HCL , Honda , Mahindra etc. the percentage of getiing placements is 85%. my plans after getting the degree is get a job in good company.

firstly the college has awesome weather and mesmerizing view and college has good reputation as it was established in year of 1956.
Nit srinagar as one of the most reputed college in india has coding culture awesome.you can get good coding culture which will enhance your coding performance and will help you in future to crack multinational companies packages and FAAMG companies .
As it was established in the year of 1956 due to its heritage and historic age this college has great alumni network and will motivate you to work like them.seminars are also held to motivate students to crack good packages .

Dislikes

The weather here is too cold so for the students who are allergic to cold might cause some issues/problems.
Travelling issue as it is located on tophills of srinagar .
Must be a problematic for those who are vegetarian as outside non veg in dominating .

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester students are elegible to give placements and internship opportunities open after completing 4 semester.Companies like infosys , nvidia , tech mahindra , tata tcs , wipro , vedanta , and far more companies psu also gail , bhel , hp , bp if no placements you get then you have the chance of offcampus placements.

Nit Srinagar is best college in india have best facilities also . Everything is good b places like library have less no of sitting should be increasedut some
Campus Life is also best there become many friends and interaction with seniors are good

Every many companies come to Nit Srinagar for offering placement,jobs to students and everyear placement is very good in nit Srinagar .They have strong alumini network also

My college little good mostly bad

provides the opportunity for placements and internship
provides good guidance in academics for clearing gate examination
very beautiful location of the college, covered with lots of mountains on all sides

mess facility is the worst they didn't know how to make a good and tasty food
sports ground are not good and not maintain
