I am a B Tech student in computer science in NIT Srinagar. NIT prepares for good future. I suggest the areas for improvement in infrustructure and in technolgy. The exam, conduct on thier right time. no problem about that

Tata , Mahindra , Google and other companies offered interenships. there are many projects offered by caompany for completing tasks and gives us best knowledge . how works is done and many more overall my review is 9 out of 10

Placement Experience

The placement statistics in 2023 the total job offers for all courses is around 724 and the total students are 668. The comanies visited in our clg are Relience,HP, Indian Oil,HCL , Honda , Mahindra etc. the percentage of getiing placements is 85%. my plans after getting the degree is get a job in good company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hello NIT Srinagar is good college. Faculty members are well educated and placement are also decent. Mostly, 85% students at NIT Srinagar got placed. The highest package was 37 LPA, and the average package is around 4 LPA. Thank You

Campus Life

MY overall experience with campus life is amazing . hostel is amazing mess is good .grounds are good . the facilities is overall good but technolgy is average . classrooms are amazing. overall review is 8 out of 10

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very importent for campus. In our campus the hostel is amazing. meal quality and menu is good for kashmiri students . the rent of hostel is affordabal. we don't need PG. the facilities provided in the room is electricity, regular drinking water , cleans rooms and etc

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

The Eligibility of the cours is 75% marks in 12th. My elder suggest me to fill the application form in NIT Srinagar for better future. my suggestion is about resevation policy for general students . Because general students suffering from to fint seats in engineering clgs.

Faculty

The faculty is friendly with students. The faculty are very supportive. The faculty is like a family. We are blessed with such a good faculty team. every teacher is well natured and good displined. we thank you to this faculty.

The review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

My point of view on NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester we become eligible for placements and sit for on campus interviews . In mechanical ONGC , IOCL ,JSW , physics wallah , vedanta and for cse and IT there are companies like paypal , microsoft (internship) , increff etc come for on campus placement.

A student's perspective

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like google microsoft facebook vedanta have visited and offered an average package of around 10 lpa. Highest package is of 45 lpa and lowest of 8 lpa. There is 100% placements of students from core branches. After i get my degree i want to work in a tech company and learn about technology.

The life of student at NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

The college placemts is good the average is areound 10lakh per annum , the comapnies that visit for placements and internships are VISA , MICROSOFT, PAYPAL, GOLDMANSACCHS, NVIDIA, CISCO, WIPRO , L&T , PHYSICS WALLAH, INCREFF , other startups etc. My plan is to crack on-campus placement from a good company.

NIT Srinagar - A Beautiful place but Underwhelming Experience

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.

I got this college on the basis of my jee mains rank through csab counselling. Due to some medical issue i was not able to study properly and got little less score.
