Course Curriculum Overview

3

In first year they some basic Physics, Chemistry, Maths and C language. Relevancy of course is not good because as a engineering we have to learn how to solve problems but in exam they ask answer in exact form of class notes like bsc students they only want theory. Our old curriculum is not able to teach Today demanding skills

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship availability is good because we always got some message about internship program. But some fake internship program are also circulating among the group Internship manly related to coding are famous only.

Placement Experience

2

On campus placement is not as good as we see from out side because mostly CSE and IT are placed not with high package. Package starts from 6lpa Ctc and goes to 21-20 lpa average some students got 34 , 54 lpa only few of them Core branches have very less placement ratio 5:80 For placement you have to learn from other sources if you totally dependent on institute then i will confirm we will not able to secure a 4 lpa placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Caution Money (One Time, Refundable) 12,000 One Time Fees 4,500 Tuition Fee (per Semester) 62,500 Other fees (per Semester) 10,500 For 1 to 5 lakhs income students Total fee is 494000 For st and sc students no tution fee they have to pay only mess and hostel fee I got NSP Scholarship program on the basis for rank in wich i got Total non refundable fee back with anual expenses of 36000 and 5000 for books and stationary and 45000 for laptop

Campus Life

3

Professor are not well qualified to teach things that are complicated. Their is some discrimination between states students like Bihar and UP students and system gave priority to local students ( kashmiri students). If you talk to some kashmiri girl local students forced to not talk to local muslim kashmiri girls. Teacher also fears from local students they even not say a word any misbehave but other students got punishment. Their is no any good fest for entertainment only one technical fest that is TECHVAGANZA Infrastructure is old not as good as other colleges like rooms , class rooms, sports facilities, their is no auditorium in campus, Their is no any effective club that helps to skills development they are only for name .

Hostel Facilities

4

In one room 5 students are staying. Wifi facilities are not good because sometimes wifi is not working for 1-2 days. Drinking water is always contaminated , for drinking water you have to boil always. Campus provide laundary facilities 6 wearing clothes in a week for each student. Mess food is not good for vegetarian person but average for non vegetarian.

Admission

I got this College because my rank is low and I want only cse or It branch. College is just average we got average teacher, average mess, average sports facilities, average hostel, below average Fest and extra curricular activities, average class rooms only some have screen and projector. Our financial system is very corrupt they stolen money from funds I think other colleges have not these problems And also bomb blast cases and firing cases increase exponential after election. Some Time we also hear firing sounds in our campus.

Faculty

3

Number of faculty is not good because in our campus many guest teacher are teaching. Teachers got angry if you ask some complicated questions like my Engineering physics teacher ( Vijay Sir). Teachers are also targeting the students for their behaviour on class and what you ask in class that leads to deduction of internal marks. Exam system Total marks of 100 Mid semester 26 marks End semester 50 marks Internal marks 24 ( attendance-8, assignment -8 , Quiz -8) In each subject Total 4 units is present. In end term exam they ask only 5 questions from which we have to attempt 4 only Our Eme professor is good Overall exam is moderate, we can pass easy with one night study

Night Life

2

You can't go outside campus after 6:30 pm because of security issues and you can't walk on campus after 10:30 pm. Gym have only 100 seats only few students can go to gym. Very bas facilities Canteen food is good but sometimes they overcharge.

Marshal the placement resources so well that our college has close to 90% placement records. Siemens, ABB and such companies where ECE engineers can contribute are the companies that hires us and the average for our ECE branch is 6 lakhs or so.

Placement Experience:

The Placements opportunities are fair as they placement is not good. The average placement is 5 l.p.a which is very low. So you have to prepare for off campus placement. The College is slightly cut off from the top companies and they are not visiting our college from covide period. Thus placement is at not good track.

Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester. Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college. Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA . Almost 30 percent students get placement. My plan is to get off campus placement.

The IIT Jammu curriculum blends strong theoretical foundations with practical learning, offering flexibility via electives and research opportunities. It prepares students well for industry and academia. Improvements could include more industry workshops and interactive teaching. Exams are moderately challenging.

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

Palcements in college are below average . If you want to get the on campus placement you need to be very good in the skills and different from others. if not placed you can try to get off campus placement also or can give any other exams like upsc, ssc, gate etc.
