ADVISE FROM A STUDENT IN NIT SRINAGAR.

I choose this college by the purpose of nice environment.this study system applies study to real world.giving less time and moderate paper makes exams more difficult.there are no specific areas in particular to be improved.all are well improved already.

as for internships and placements, companies like power grid corporation of india, bharat heavy electricals limited(BHEL) , indian oil corporation limited(IOCL), tata power, larsen & toubro,etc are offering students who are in Electrical Engineering here. Stipends vary from 15000 to 30000 per month depending on role and project given. and as for projects, above given companies focus on projects related to power system, electrical machinary, etc.

students are elgible for campus placements who are started their seventh semester.companies like Power grid corporation of india,Bharat petroleum,Bharat heavy Electricals Limited,Reliance are top companies here,number of offers varies yearly.there is more than 85% of placement percentage here in EE.I want to complete higher studies like M.tech,MBA in even more great universities.

Semister fee is 0 for EWS student .college fee is 10000 and mess and hostelfee are 21000 for other categories like GEN they has 1 lakh for one semister (approx.) . many scholarships such as ffe and nsp and ongc,etc are available.

as for fests, annual fest of Rang-e-Chinar which is held in march and a tech fest, Techvaganza held in october . as for library resources, it contains more than 70000 resources like books , references , etc. they also provide free wifi allover the campus. there are somany social clubs ans sports clubs, tech clubs. there is a spetial club named Google Deeloper Student Club(GDSC) used for boosting skills in programing and machine learning. and also events like Hackthons , workshops , etc. are there to improve skills. as for sports, there is inter NIT competetions also.

hostel rooms are neat and clean and nice and comfortable for study. and members of room varies uopn year, hostel, etc other factors but in one room there is accomedation for 1 to 5 students. and each room consists of seperate ethernet . as for mess , menu, mess has seperate fee charge of 21000 and hostel charge of 8000 per semester. and for menu, breakfast of bread pakoda , tea,patathas . lunch and dinner consistes of diffrent items.food taste is decent to excellent. registration process is strait forwarded by dean of students welfare.

This college is one of my best colleges in given option.and I rejected other college becouse of the nature in this college.this college is full ofgreenish environment and nice climate.but admission process is quite complicated.but there are others who guides in admission process.

Good number of faculty in campus and all are interactive with students.i like all faculty who thought to me.few are proritizing only home state students and giving less marks to others.and all exams conducted are moderate to hard in level in difficulty.

the gym closes by 8 pm and library closes by 12pm daily. hostel gates varies for boys and girls and for boys timimgs are overnight and girls,closes at 10pm. there are best spots for hangingout for chat, discussions,etc . Dal lake viewpoint is best of them where we can see flowing dal lake there from inside of campus. and nice cafteria to evening chat. Outside of campus, there is dal lake, lal chowk , hazaratbal mosque, etc. near campus. also there are few organisations who arrange trips in kashmir like gulmarg, sonmarg, etc. as for safty, there are somany CCTV cameras under survillance. late night activites are restricted for girls within hostel where boys can roam around whole campus.
