CCSHAU Facilities

CCSHAU provides various facilities to its students. They are as follows:

Hostel: The university provides separate hostels for both boys and girls except Diploma students. The Hostels are well-equipped with all the latest facilities such as WiFi, LCD TV with dish antennae, solar water-heating system, gas connection, furniture, EPABX phone facility, mess facility, water coolers with purifier system and Table Tennis facilities.
Library: The university provides library facilities to its students. The library contains around 3.18 lakh volumes of books and 718 Indian and foreign journals and has 6 reading halls with a cosy reading environment where 650 readers can sit and study at a time.
Laboratories: The university has well-equipped laboratories in each area of learning to provide PCR, FT-IR, Electron Microscope and X-ray diffraction and many more.
Sports: The university has two indoor badminton courts with seating capacity for 600 spectators, two indoor squash courts, hobby rooms, and two multipurpose indoor gymnasiums with a reasonable seating capacity.
Medical Services: The university has a well-equipped 50-bed Hospital at the main campus, Hisar and 3 Dispensaries at out-stations that are at College of Agriculture, Kaul (Kaithal), Regional Research Stations, Karnal, and Bawal. The Hospital at the main campus is fully functional with 5 Doctors and a Dentist & medical aid is provided round the clock to the students, university employees, and other trainees/ visitors.

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

I have choosed this course because I am interested in agriculture and want to help farmers so that their living standards can be raised. Field work should be incorporated in the course curriculum so that students can get aware about the real problems of farmer field.

What are the internship opportunities in the campus?

Internship opportunities are available in othe institutes for the students. Students are also sent abroad for internship under IDP. Ministry of agriculture and Farmer welfare is also providing internship opportunities for students.

Various companies recruiting from the campus

Students become eligible during 7th and 8th for placement. Different seed, pesticides, fungicide, insecticide companies visit the college for placement. You can also pursue higher studies after the bachelor.

Yearly fees structure of the course

One year fees is around Rs.16000-17000. Fees for SC, ST students is less which is around Rs 5000-6000 per year. Merit based scholarship is provided - Rs. 800 per month for boys and Rs.1200 per month for girls.

Students views about the campus life

Different co-curricular activities are organised all along the year. Different clubs are formed like photography club, cultural club, etc for social development of students. Sports activities are being organised like interclass games, athletic meet, etc.

What are facilities available in the college hostel?

Room is provided with bed, fan, almirah, table. The meal quality is good and there is variety in meals. Menu is prepared according the nutritional requirements and nutritionak value of food. Hostel is provided on merit basis.

Faculty and examination pattern of the college

Faculty to student ratio is around 1: 40. Some faculty members are very rude towards the students. Exam are conducted twice a semester including mid term and final term exam. Course curriculum is designed in very efficient manner so that students can learn everything in sequential manner.

What is the admission process of the college?

I got admitted in this university because our university has a better rank in university evaluation list. For admission in university entrance exam are conducted which is matriculation based and also 12th based. Students gets admission and college on the basis of their marks in entrance test. For matriculation based admission only students residing in haryana is eligible. The entrance exam is of 100 marks (60 marks science of 10 th class ncert and 40 marks general agriculture). Function is organised on every occasions or festivals and celebrated with joy.

Dislikes

They do not provide hardcopies of any notes. We have to manage by our own.
There is no proper canteen for university. All colleges have their separate canteens. Hostel timings is different for summers and winters.

Admission:

I got admission in GJU. But it was my dream to take admission in CCSHAU. So i took my admission in here. University helds entrance exam for admission every year. We have to score min 50 passing marks out of 100. Eligibility criteria- B.Sc Home Science

Student during the week should be aware about the events in the university
There's no student union like other institute nd University

As it is government University, that's why i choose this. Due to low fees and also for the domain i opt for my masters. And sincerely i speak i didn't apply in the other college because i want to study agribusiness management that is available only in this University. First of all, University invites the application for program nd after it cross check the information provided by the applicant. Entrance exam is geld for shortlisting he applicants nd exams are based on the subject in which they apply. Results and after Results online counselling are in progress. Admission are on merit list.

The course I applied for is bsc. Hons agriculture 6 year program which is offered by many universities but I applied for Asia's no. 1 university Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University Hisar Haryana I get admitted to the university through entrance test based on science of 10th class+ general agriculture The course offered by the one campus of 3 of university that is College of Agriculture bawal, Rewari 10th passed students are offered for this course on entrance test basis The difficulty level of the test is above average and have to secure a good score of approx 85+ out of 100

I like the environment, supportive staff, clean and professional labs, other research support for doctoral student, Night reading halls, so beautiful area.

Admission:

I applied in MDU, but mostly i prefer HAU, because i have had heard lot about this and some of my known seniors were purisuing masters or PhD here, i didn't apply to any other university. For admission in HAU, you have to give entrance exam for 3 hours and they are selected on the basis of merit ( >50 marks ) and for JRF student, you have to clear the interview.

Library gives perfect environment to study .

Dislikes

Very big campus and field are very far from the departments that makes it time consuming for students to reach .

Admission:

I opted this college as I was always interested in agriculture studies and this university gave me that opportunity .other subjectas like physics, chemistry, biology that were not related to practical knowledge at the graduation level but bsc agriculture was practical and have wide scope as India is primary an agriculture based country.

Likes

The environment of University is fantastic and lovable.
The tree and flower in university put en extra grace to the university environment.

Dislikes

There so many monkeys in university which distrub the students.
Drainage system on university is not that good everytime it rains university gets flooded

Admission:

I choose this college because this the only college which offers the course BTech agricultural engineering and part of the Asia's biggest agricultural University. All the admissions in this college are conducted bu Haryana state technical education society on the basis of jee mains ranking.

CCSHAU HISAR - A MUST COME

Likes

Students will gain a lot of experience and knowledge.

Dislikes

Paper work will be somewhat tiring for students.
Sometimes portal access facility is poor.

Admission:

Entrance exam will be held for the students. Students with highest marks will get the seats first in the counseling held by university. Two counseling will be done for the admission procedure. Eligibility, application form, entrance score card, counseling date and details all will be available on the university site.

Hisar CCSHAU The ICAR Entrance Test is used to determine admission to the MBA program. The university will make admission decisions based on the CAT/CMAT score or a merit list. The university will close the application procedure until 30 May 2023 (tentative).
