Course Curriculum Overview
I have choosed this course because I am interested in agriculture and want to help farmers so that their living standards can be raised. Field work should be incorporated in the course curriculum so that students can get aware about the real problems of farmer field.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are available in othe institutes for the students. Students are also sent abroad for internship under IDP. Ministry of agriculture and Farmer welfare is also providing internship opportunities for students.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible during 7th and 8th for placement. Different seed, pesticides, fungicide, insecticide companies visit the college for placement. You can also pursue higher studies after the bachelor.
Fees and Financial Aid
One year fees is around Rs.16000-17000. Fees for SC, ST students is less which is around Rs 5000-6000 per year. Merit based scholarship is provided - Rs. 800 per month for boys and Rs.1200 per month for girls.
Campus Life
Different co-curricular activities are organised all along the year. Different clubs are formed like photography club, cultural club, etc for social development of students. Sports activities are being organised like interclass games, athletic meet, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Room is provided with bed, fan, almirah, table. The meal quality is good and there is variety in meals. Menu is prepared according the nutritional requirements and nutritionak value of food. Hostel is provided on merit basis.
Admission
I got admitted in this university because our university has a better rank in university evaluation list. For admission in university entrance exam are conducted which is matriculation based and also 12th based. Students gets admission and college on the basis of their marks in entrance test. For matriculation based admission only students residing in haryana is eligible. The entrance exam is of 100 marks (60 marks science of 10 th class ncert and 40 marks general agriculture). Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is around 1: 40. Some faculty members are very rude towards the students. Exam are conducted twice a semester including mid term and final term exam. Course curriculum is designed in very efficient manner so that students can learn everything in sequential manner.
