Course Curriculum Overview

I selected the course by chance and was not at all interested after joining and till date . The faculty qualification is good but teaching is not upto mark. Exams are easy if interest is there. All exam are held timely

Rawe by University itself and stipend vary between 40-50k .The rawe include rural survey of farmer for 2 months and there is also industrial posting for experiencing chemical composition of fertilizer and pesticides

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is quite affordable but it should not exceed much in one year .it can be increased gradually according to inflation but steadily so that student can easily adjust the college propriety before taking admission . Scholarship is not given timely and is usually delayed

Campus Life

Some entrance book are not available but most of common are there . Classroom have smart board . No extra curricular activities are is promoted .annual fest are good and are generally organised in December month

In month of July there is entrance for admission and the eligibility is 50% in pcb/ pcm or any agricultural subject as optional with physics and chemistry in 12th the application form can be availed from ccs hau website

NICE COLLEGE

well discipline staff and teachers, they took your concern seriously and try to solve as soon as possible, teachers are also very good and talented as i was students from COVID BATCH but in online classes also they teach us with discipline.
Campus is very beautiful, almost in 60 acres with 3 cafes inside the campus and dominoes .so much facility also available inside the campus like swimming pool gym horse riding dance classes ATM service and many more.
So many international students was there and people from different state means from all over the India which is play a very important role in my personality development and understandin in different culture of India.

Dislikes

i think think i don't like about my college is they invite so much company for interviews which really bring a so much pressure on student shoulder to perform well and last year students are already in so much pressure due to uncertainty of their fut
my college culture is so much upgraded and being a middle class this is really tough to adjust in such culture its almost take 1to 2 years to adapt that culture generally people from rich family or upper middle family took admission in GD GOENKA uni.
Tution fee is also so much in compare to other university to for the same course also teachers are not specific for their subjects they can teach you anythings and also if you have backlog then you have to pay 5000per subject which is also so much .

i rate 8 out of 10 there is positive and negitive aspect of every things my university was good in many aspect but also there is so many crons , according to me main crons of university is at the time of placement they being very serious compare to their acedamic .

Senior faculties and infrastructures are verry good
Social interaction is also good they have different ciuntry student's
They all are PhD faculties and and mentorship is very well trained.

Dislikes

The main thing i disliked is attendance is biometric
Proper rules are there that must compulsory to follow
Some student make too much noise in every area this is common

Placement Experience:

Their is placement but not very good placement the average placement is 4 LPA. They can increase their placement ratio by having better companies bond relationship. Highest placement was 9 LPA Nearly 7-10% Student get placement. My plan after degree is to continue further studies from different universities.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

Likes

Lovely campus with lots of greenery and awesome wibes.
Botanical garden is a place full of flowers and many other things, its a very peaceful place.
Library because a huge amount of books are present in it and a wide variety of journals and books

Dislikes

Discrimination based on gender as the timings of girls hostels are limited.
Many times we have to walk to fields in scroaching sunlight when vehicles are not available.
Fees has been increased and scholarship remaind as such and even decreased

Course Curriculum Overview:

I belong to a farming family and my wish to improve the traditional agricultural practices my family is using and to help the farmers community and serve as a gem to our motherland is the main reason which motivated me to take this course. All the faculty members are well qualified and are working as assistant scientists or scientists. Their practical knowledge is really great and they teach with a lot of interest, students are also keen to learn the new aspects of farming. One semester is completed in 6 months and mid term exams takes place within 3 months after that final exam takes place. It's not much difficult to pass the examination just a good knowledge of the subject is required.

Brief review of ccs hau hisar

Likes

Hostels are good with cooperative messes.
Infrastructure of university is good with all services like campus hospitals shopping complex Atm bank.
Different clubs like mountaineering clubs ,music and dance clubs.nd.

Dislikes

College is far from hostels around 1 kilometer distance.
75% attendance is compulsory and time given to teachers for their subject is also less.
University staff sometimes misbehaved with students and sometimes power cuts for around 2 hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bsc( hons.) Agriculture is 4 year degree with 8 semesters including 36 subjects. This course provides lot of opportunities in agriculture sector About 400 faculty members and 1500 students in ug and pg program Almost all faculty members have doctrate degree (phd) and their teaching experience is also considerable There are two type of written exams mid semester and end semester including viva and practicals Overall 100 out of 200 marks are required to pass in any subject. Exams are not so much hard

There is no grocery shop open 24x7 which is disliked

Remarks:

Management faculty is not soo good. Department is more friendly than management faculty. University is not so big so we know each teacher and teachers know us by name and by face so this will create more understanding between us.

Remarks:

Overall I found the college good and i am not regretting to take admission into this college. Teachers are average, studies are going and everything is just fine. Lets just hope for the best for future.

The students who have completed 12th with PCB/PCM/PCA/PCMB with 50% marks are eligible for this course. The application form, application fres and application dates are available on the official website of the university. Some seats are reserved for the underprivileged categories SC, ST and OBC along with economically weaker sections. Seats are also reserved as sports quota, for the children of army officials and physically handicapped students as well. Some seats are also being provided to the children of the villages which have donated lands for the KVK's. The reservation benefits should be given to only those students who actually need it.
