Faculty is very supportive for students.
Students will gain a lot of experience and knowledge.
Students will definitely learn a lot about research work even in masters.

Dislikes

Sometimes portal access facility is poor.
There will be some issue regarding opting course credits sometimes.
Paper work will be somewhat tiring for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum mainly focuses on the future study planning of students regarding jobs, CSIR NET etc. Four times exams will be held annually. Teaching methods is somewhere not good as they mainly focuses on research work.

Class Size: 6Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship will be given to the students scoring above 7.5 GPA. For M.Sc. students, 6000/- per month. For PhD students, 10000/- per month. 50,000/- for two years approx fees for course. The facilities regarding fees and stipend are very beneficial for students.

Campus Life

Sports meet and krishi mela will held annually in march and February respectively. Library is well equipped with huge range of books, jounals and thesis. Also, Library access is online with OPSTAT. Talent hunt will also be held in colleges.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is very nice and mess food quality is very good . Menu is well nutritional maintained. Hostel registration is done along with the admission procedure. Fees will be deducted alongwith admission fees. If someone want PG, there is also facilitates of rented room and PG nearby the institution.

Hostel Fee: INR 1700 per year

Admission

Entrance exam will be held for the students. Students with highest marks will get the seats first in the counseling held by university. Two counseling will be done for the admission procedure. Eligibility, application form, entrance score card, counseling date and details all will be available on the university site.

See placements for msc chemistry students is very limited everywhere. Only some of the students accept placements offer because the ctc is not so much. Most of the students go for net jrf instead of doing private jobs. They prefer to go research and also some students apply for phd in europe or usa where they get really good stipend

Going through my university.

Placement Experience:

As per the placement most replacement work done from the BTech department. And there are many companies who give their advertisement for the recruitment and they take a test in which last semester student or the student who has just fast are eligible. So placement are offered mostly in engineering department but some companies also post advertisement for many other department like BCA ,BBA ,Bsc and Msc. Highest package round 8 to 9 lakh. The average packages round 4 lakh. The percentage of student getting placement is not high but it is around 60%. I want to pursue my career in data science.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

The students who have completed 12th with PCB/PCM/PCA/PCMB with 50% marks are eligible for this course. The application form, application fres and application dates are available on the official website of the university. Some seats are reserved for the underprivileged categories SC, ST and OBC along with economically weaker sections. Seats are also reserved as sports quota, for the children of army officials and physically handicapped students as well. Some seats are also being provided to the children of the villages which have donated lands for the KVK's. The reservation benefits should be given to only those students who actually need it.
