MSU Baroda Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

since I was in my bachelor's i decided to get admission in MBA specialization in finance. There is a 3:2 ratio of boys and girls respectively in our colleges. some of the faculty possess Ph.D. in their own subjects and some of them have a master's in the subject. All faculty teach too well so it is easy for students to pass in exam and exam conduct from time to time.

Campus placements are good but this year it got badly affected by Corona Virus. Though college managed to bring some good opportunities. Companies like ICICI, Alembic, HDFC, TOI, Dainik Bhaskar, etc came. The average placement was 5.5 lacs and the highest package was 10.2 lacs given by Federal Bank.

Yes, our college does have a placement drive in which many companies do visit the campus for the recruitment process. Also, many companies are there on the outskirts of Vadodara which also visits every year. Bank like ICICI, HDFC, Federal Bank comes. The highest number of offers are made by ICICI. TCS, Reliance, Outlook Magazines, Divya Bhaskar, Times of India etc are some of the other companies that visit. The highest package goes till 11 lacs and the average is 5.5 - 6 lacs.

A Few companies Regularly visit for Placement, internship, and Grand project. overall statistics are decent from the ROI point of view. Faculty Members here is Marinating good placement record except 2021 due to COVID-19. Every year around 70% to 80% are almost placed from campus interviews with the average salary package varies around 4 LPA to 5 LPA. the highest package varies around 8 LPA to 10 LPA. In our batch top recruiters are HDFC Ltd, ICICI Bank, TCS, Torrent Pharma, HDFC Bank, ICICI Prudential etc. Most of the company are , in general offers Marketing and its related profile with few offers HR related Profile. very Few company came here for core Finance and operation related Jobs. FMS-Baroda has one Group of Students and Teachers which called Placement committee which handle all activity regarding Placements. All placements are depend on alertness and dedication Team of Placement committee.

Placements are pretty decent as compared to the fees charged by the college. The average package being 4.5 LPA and the highest offered this year being 10LPA. The students are placed based on their potential and previous work experience.

In our college, there is a placement committee who are handling for internships and final placement. The group is a combination of students and professors who are doing their best to placed students at a good profile after their studies. The highest package last year offer is 10 lakh and lowest is 4 lakh.

Within Gujarat, MSU is providing a good number of opportunities for placements compared to other colleges. recently TCS, HDFC, ICICI, Torrent Pharma, and many more companies visited the college for campus placements.

On-campus, placement starts in the month of September generally whilst the 3rd semester. Companies such as Tata Consultancy Services, Reliance, HDFC Bank, Alembic, ICICI Bank, Federal Bank, BFIL Bank, HFFC Bank, Kotak Life, ICICI Prudential, Stone Sapphire, Deepak Nitrate, UTI Mutual funds take students from Campus placement and they give a generally the highest package of 11 lacs and average package of 5.2 Lacs.

The students who get an overall 60% or more are eligible for placements here only. The average package here offered is between 6-7 lakh p.a. and last year the highest placement was offered was about 10.2 p.a. in marketing specialization. The ratio of students is placed every year is about 60-70% of the total. The main motive of my MBA here is to improve my skills in business and then start a business accordingly.
