M S Patel Institute of Management Studies, known as FMS- Baroda, was established in1984 in the city of Vadodara. It is run by Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda which is well known University since 1949. The institute offers a full-time MBA program, a doctoral Program, and two executive MBA Programs. The institute offers four specialization - Marketing Management, Finance Management, Human Resource Management, and Production and Operations Management. Admission Criteria: Graduate with 50% marks in aggregate, candidate should take and clear CMAT Entrance Exam. Admission Process: Merit Bases Admission process conduct through ACPC, Gujarat on. FMS-Baroda offers four Different core specialization of Master of Business Administration (MBA) which are Marketing Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Production and Operation Management. For Each specialization, FMS-Baroda has 5 permeant Faculty and more than 15 External Faculty which all are industry Professionals, Financial Professionals, and professional trainers. FMS-Baroda has audiovisual Classes, computer classes, and an auditorium which become helpful for professional and advance way of study. The course includes four semesters, one summer internship program, two contemporary issue projects, and one grand project in the two-year full-time MBA program.

Every student has to do compulsory 3 months Summer Internship in any Field and one Grand project from Respective Field. Many National and Local companies regularly came here for internships and grand projects from them only a Few companies came with a stipend which are around 5000 to 10000 Rupees per Months. few company also give PPO offer to the students. For 2021 batch very few company like ICICI Bank, MWH, Peacock solar etc. came for internship due to COVID-19. FMS- Baroda has one placement committee (group of students and Teachers) which is responsible for all placement and internship and Grand project company.

A Few companies Regularly visit for Placement, internship, and Grand project. overall statistics are decent from the ROI point of view. Faculty Members here is Marinating good placement record except 2021 due to COVID-19. Every year around 70% to 80% are almost placed from campus interviews with the average salary package varies around 4 LPA to 5 LPA. the highest package varies around 8 LPA to 10 LPA. In our batch top recruiters are HDFC Ltd, ICICI Bank, TCS, Torrent Pharma, HDFC Bank, ICICI Prudential etc. Most of the company are , in general offers Marketing and its related profile with few offers HR related Profile. very Few company came here for core Finance and operation related Jobs. FMS-Baroda has one Group of Students and Teachers which called Placement committee which handle all activity regarding Placements. All placements are depend on alertness and dedication Team of Placement committee.

Students has also access to Smt. Hansa Mehta Library. FMS- Baroda has a common University sports Facility for the overall personality development of students. FMS- Baroda has Management Student Forum - MSF (Group of Students) which conduct different Events, Guest lecture, sport Events, Seminars Workshops, Different Activities, and Annual Flagship Event called 'YUVANTAS'. MSF also runs FMS club which is the social media club of FMS-Baroda. FMS-Baroda has all classrooms with Projectors, Speakers, and Microphone Facility. For Conduct Different Stage Event FMS- Baroda has one Auditorium with more than 60 capacity.

The Maharaja Sayajirao University has more than 12 Boys Hostel and 3 Girls Hostel. which all have good infrastructure with all basic facility considering fees which is only 7000 Rupees per Annum. there are availability of all sport equipment in hostel and they also organize sport Event and annual Function in Hostel. Every Hostel Campus Has its own Mess and canteen Facility with very hygienic and cheapest food serve considering Rupees 40 per Dish. Vadodara is very Big city which also has Samras Hostels, Privet Hostels and PG Facility with very Reasonable Price.
