A great journey so far at NBS

The internal assignments at NBS is just amazing and a person can get so many insights about the corporate world by doing them. NBS will push you everytime to come out of your comfort zone by giving internal assignments.

More than 150 companies will come to give internship opportunities to students. From Aditya Birla, ITC, 99Acres to some great startups like ENERLYF, Hungrito, Currently etc. for all the domains will come to provide internships that too the paid ones with a min stipend of 5000 to max. of 30000.

As I have already said placements are good also it's something which depends on one's ability, capabilities and knowledge. Though the average package lies between 6-7 LPA and goes upto 20LPA. As I'm going to start my internship and till now within 10 days more than 150 companies has came to NBS for providing internships.

When I took the admission it was 7.95L the total fees now it has increased to 9.85L for the PGDM Dual specialization MBA and the fees for PGDM QF is remaining the same which is 10.85L. The college has asked for 85000 as a admission fees and then rest amount into 4 installments of 177500 each. Other than this the college will not ask for any other amount.

The overall experience at NBS is good there are clubs and committees and student council. NBS has a library with all the books available along with printout machines. The cafeteria at NBS is good as it offers from Tea to Pizza everything. The sports area is also energetic at NBS as it has a basketball court and a volleyball court and badminton court too and sooner it'll also have a Turf for cricket and indoor games like snooker, table tennis, cricket.

Hostels are really very good in terms of rooms and cleanliness. They provide triple sharing and dual sharing facilities. The room will hav a bed alone with mattress and pillow a table and a chair. A almirah for keeping your stuffs. Even they will give you bedsheets and pillow cover too which will get cleaned after every 10 days. The hostel has a pantry room along with refrigerator and microwave. A study room is there. All the rooms are air conditioning they have guest rooms too. They provide laundry facilities also.

I chose this college because it's offering good internship opportunities and good placements with industry related curriculum at a fees which I can bear. NBS has it's own NBSAT entrance exam for selecting students those students clear that will have to go through PI for seeking a successful seat at NBS.

The faculties are super supportive they are always ready and available to help the students. All the faculties present at NBS are having a good working experience into the corporates and they are bringing everything on the table to make students skilled and knowledgeable in every domain. Course structure is simple there's Trisem pattern which is been following at NBS for PGDM students. Each Trisem will have atleast 8-9 subjects and after the completion of 1st year students will elect there specialization. Marking system is done on the basis of content that you have one has written in the exam. Although the results are very good only few students got failed in the last sem that too only in 1 or 2 subjects which they will be clearing in the next sem by giving exam another time.

Yes I have given NBSAT entrance exam which is the official exam of NBS once a student will clear it he/she will be eligible for a PI. NBSAT have same pattern like CAT but the difficulty level will be lower. PI will be a great experience they will ask only general questions about you, your educational details, interests and some current affair questions.

Though the college is at outskirts a little far away like 10-12 km from the city. One can get the transport facility easily and can go for having fun. A person can get everything whatever they want in a short period of time.
