Faculty is helpful and have great knowledge of the subject,ambience is great,
The college also provides a scholarship every 6 months to students for free and job placements are taken nicely and good companies are approaching the university
The faculty of law is one of the best law colleges of india so there are many local and famous companies visited for requirements and students are also placed there or tnp cell provide good placement opportunities to students

Dislikes

Internshi opportunities are provided but the companies that comes for those drives are not so great and dont provide such a good exposure.
Placements are mainly done by college students only, faculty is not helping in it
No placements policies * for the faculty of arts students and no internship programs too.

It was good that I can type my current clg experience somewhere.

Likes

Huge campus, friendly staff, there are lot of canteens to choose from and most of them are budget friendly
Thing about class I like the most is everyone is cooperative
Exams are taken semister wise so it's a good thing

Dislikes

Nothing in perticular but teaching method is unplanned

I choose this course because I couldn't decide on what to do as after bcom u can opt for any field u want. Everything is fine. Subjects, courses syllabus all. Exams are semester wise and they are little hard but u can crack your exam easily if u study regularly.

Environment and the structure of the institute and the vibe of the campus.
Where you get full access of the lab and help of other colleagues.
As well as the support of alumni are there for you.

Dislikes

Behaviour of your teacher. Not that much friendly.
Faculty member have to be like friend but they not.
They are like very strict more then enough.

Placement Experience:

So for our batch. Our batch is of covid time batch where we completed our bechlors. So after it obviously it's not easy for us and institute also to directly restart goodly but in our batch there is 60% placements was done till now.

The hidden truth of MSU bcom

The city Baroda , the green surrounding and soothing environment of college , faculties nice behaviour. Most importantly I was preparing for competitive exams and MSU bcom is not having any issues with
Attendance, so it got me my personal time for better preparations and studies, if I lacked I would go to college to attend lectures faculty is always available for given time , I would easily get notes from college printout office.
Semester examination are conducted in a very soothing way .

Dislikes

I personally disliked the delays college creates in announcing the results after examinations . Thier is no co curricular activities, no extra learnings only sticks to bookish knowledge, we won't get to explore much about business in practical.
No internship opportunities are given . Even after graduation you can't get a placement by college because they just provide a few local companies and get the formality done , no guidance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would feel a bit silly to choose bcom as it has no scope futher until you opt for masters , because after you complete your graduation from bcom thier are very less job opportunities until and unless you do your own business startup or join a less salaried job . After bcom you can go with various options like government jobs , bank sector,m.com , MBA and many other .

my personal pros and cons

its ambience and the greenery around us, also here the professors are very supportive. The most important thing here is the fest. All the events are organized by students.
Students who passed out from this college are more practical because they do every possible things like events, festivals, workshops, also they arrange the experts lecture, they handle all the expense by themselves by making a student body.
the SAS body (student body) handle and arrange all the events at university. the famous events of our college arrange by us are ATELIER & REFLECTION. which is organized by students every year. here the students from every year are best friends.

Dislikes

i personally dislike the condition of our washrooms. hygiene is not maintained properly.
landscape is good but it is not properly maintained. we also have a pond in our campus but it is not cleaned regularly thus it is resulted into mosquitos and flies and snakes and what not..

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was influenced by the course was its subjects. mainly the design and planning I loved it so much that it forced me to choose it. This course is preparing me for real-world challenges as it teaches me the various design software, how to deal with clients (this we learned in our juries), most importantly how to be calm, and so on. It should have a D-D course. as it will be helpful for diploma students personally, I think the jury should have more time to prepare our best sheets.

A serene journey at MSU

The atmosphere of my college campus, surrounded by nature, diverse bird species and impressive architecture is truly captivating! The serene environment of MSU makes it an ideal place for both study and exploration.
The vast expanse of the campus ensures there’s always something new to discover, weather you are indoors or outdoors.
All the different faculties has its own different identity and ideas to present themselves I belong to zoology faculty and everyone there you meet has a story to tell. The libraries of MSU are one of the largest in the world so much to explore!

Dislikes

The first thing I didn’t like about MSU was its canteen especially the science canteen it needs to be more hygiene and clean. Don't know about other faculties but mostly same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this field for myself because of the interest I share with animals and their well-being! To my knowledge, this course is definitely perfect if you want to pursue the field of research or be it a forest officer. The field has diverse opportunities if you really are interested and also not if you have no interest or experience. In the real world, the value of a zoologist depends on how well-experienced you are. Teaching methods as of now need no improvement its fun to learn and grow with it as it is right now. In terms of examination, we have our mid-semester and then externals the difficulty level is 70-30 means 70 percent is hard to moderate level and 30 percent is quite direct questions. They will prepare you for competitive exams.

Behavior of teaching and non teaching staff.
Good atmosphere for gain knowledge and making good courier
College placed in good area of baroda city so not facing transportation difficulty

Dislikes

Admission process is quite tricky and lengthy
Some faculties are not good in exam process so you face some difficulty
Hostel admission process is quite tricky for new applicants

Placement Experience:

Good placements opportunity compare to other relevant college and average place 5 to 6 lakhs for mostly branch and 15 lakhs for CSE. Good opportunity to done your job in private sector and improve your skills.

the university is very much affordable as compared to other prominent universities. it is a government university and has great degree value
the exposure provided by MSU BBA was uncomparable with any other university nearby
events are amazing. they are not the cherry on top they are the whole cake, as bba students we arrange finances, plan and execute our own events

Dislikes

the management could have been better but it is like any other government institue
if you are male you might not find hostel survivable, but for girls they are quite hygienic

Placement Experience:

placements are offered in msu bba. they arent great as most of the students aim to do mba their are a few placement every year which are in the field of management and companies gives 1.5 lakh to 4 lakh annual ctc

My first year in university

Maharaja sayajiro university is one of best universities of Gujarat and India too I like the heritage building which is still preserved by the college
The classes are huge and facilites of the universe is also fine they offer large variety of sports

Dislikes

Less number of washrooms are there and there is no washroom in the main building of arts which is the heritage building
The food of canteen is good but sometimes no salt is there

Campus environment is very peacefulll and also have a good library name TK Gajjar

Campus is little small. But it's not a big problem

Placement Experience:

After degree placement are very very less but if you will do master there is 100% placement. Some companies like Cipla, tornat pharma, zydus, alembim offers the placement here. Average Starting salery is about 30-40 thousand INR per month. After getting my degree I am planning to do master from here.
