A serene journey at MSU

I chose this field for myself because of the interest I share with animals and their well-being! To my knowledge, this course is definitely perfect if you want to pursue the field of research or be it a forest officer. The field has diverse opportunities if you really are interested and also not if you have no interest or experience. In the real world, the value of a zoologist depends on how well-experienced you are. Teaching methods as of now need no improvement its fun to learn and grow with it as it is right now. In terms of examination, we have our mid-semester and then externals the difficulty level is 70-30 means 70 percent is hard to moderate level and 30 percent is quite direct questions. They will prepare you for competitive exams.

According to me there is no need of tuitions if you regularly attend the lectures and so there is no cut out for tuitions. The cost for my course including the fees which will be 8500 plus we have journals to submit regularly every semester which costs us 60rs and the loose journal paper that will be 300 or so every semester so that will be around 1k because we have journals for every subjects (minor,mdc,sec) for each semester so extra cost is similar to no cost. Other than this we have field trips which costs us not more than 500rs and thats like very much affordable. The amounts of scholarships that our college provides are 100 to many as its a government college. As of now I am pursuing 2nd year and so I have undertaken no employment or anything expect for the internship which was not paid and was under our respective teachers.

We have many festivals, days and events held in our department and their are many opportunities for a student to explore its interests and enjoy the activities and gain experiences of all kind. We have open house celebration in our faculty which includes representing all our different departments in their own way and on this day the faculty is open for all to explore and gain knowledge on different aspects. School students visited us last year and definitely left university with a wide knowledge. Our MSU university has one of the largest libraries of the world the hansa meheta library and it has wide range of books available. We also have pavilion of our university providing range of sports for the students and also the opportunity to play state to national level championships.

The eligibility to my course as general category student was above 60%. The application form was easy to find online from the university website and everything was smooth and directed to do so step by step. The faculty office was also very helpful the people working there are also polite to talk to and very much guideful to you. There is I guess 40% seats reservation for the ST/OBC...etc categories.

The faculty of science has the best teachers and mentors as of my contact and until now I have had only a few bad experiences with teachers and that will be from the botany department as of now. The department I belong to Zoology had the best teachers their teaching style could never bore a student you can feel that you want to learn more. We have few senior teachers and we never felt that we couldn't talk to them as a student, they are always there to guide us. Even the HOD himself is one of the most humble people I have met. The teaching methods of all the teachers in our faculty are different and new always a good experience with a new teacher not only Zoology but in other departments too! All the teachers are pretty present to guide us and mentor us when in need.
