Faculty is helpful and have great knowledge of the subject,ambience is great,
The college also provides a scholarship every 6 months to students for free and job placements are taken nicely and good companies are approaching the university
The faculty of law is one of the best law colleges of india so there are many local and famous companies visited for requirements and students are also placed there or tnp cell provide good placement opportunities to students

Dislikes

Internshi opportunities are provided but the companies that comes for those drives are not so great and dont provide such a good exposure.
Placements are mainly done by college students only, faculty is not helping in it
No placements policies * for the faculty of arts students and no internship programs too.

Likes

Labs and Experimental equipment are good condition
Environment and infrastructure is so royal and attractive
Faculty teachers are supporting and helpful nature also in projects and internship

Dislikes

Teaching methods and syllabus are old not changes since 2011
Attendance issue, 75% essential hence internship leave not provided

Campus placement is provided all the well-known companies of Baroda as well other cities and many MNC companies create requirement drive in college, Different placement rounds like Aptitude, Coding, HR takes place in campus areas. But majority placement is done in CS IT department less in EC Mechanical Electrical

Life at MSU

Likes

The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is the most reputed in India. The campus is large in size offering almost each and every course.
The education is very good and the professors are very cooperative. They guide you and mentor you.
There are various competitions organised within the campus.

Dislikes

The administration is very slow and they will never give you your marksheet and stuff on time.
The exams are set in one week. You don't get preparatory leave within the exam.
The hall ticket is always generated one day prior to exam which is very inconvenient.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In BA psychology, the course offers specialization in one subject and there were options such a clinical, industrial, sports, counselling and educational psychology. For grant in aid programme, only clinical, Industrial and counseling psychology is available as options. For Higher Payment programme, all options were available. There is no difference in grant in aid and higher payment except for fees and specialization options. Teachers are same and classroom are same. And HPP exams are held in the department of psychology while Grant In aid exam are held in different departments as per subject.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for placement and many students get confirmed on placement The highest package of electrical is 17 lakh per annum The percentage of students is need more than 70% the students are eligible to get placement

my experience to the collage as an outsider state student.

Likes

collage fests and events are good and enjoyable different clubs also available
connectivity is good railway station bus stop is near to the hostel also airport is near by the collage
same as upper nothing than this is there you can like

Dislikes

management is very bad faculty also not supportive many time
need renovation in whole class and infrastructure
labs and technology used need to be get updated

Placement Experience:

placements are also not so good they are average like 4-7 lpa you have to maintain good marks to get sit in placements no fo companies that visit is good highest package is 13 lpa kind of most of the student get the placements any where or the other

Likes

The college is having various activities
The staff is too corporative and the teachers are very much passionate about teaching

Dislikes

The worst thing is that you can't go home easily
The management needs to be more great and commitment to the work
The collage is lacking of infrastructure but the new building ready

College Review of Faculty of Technology & Engineering, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.

Likes

Infrastrucutre: because campus is located in central city. so, you can roam and have fun in the city and also you can enjoy campus ambience.
Fests: extracurricular activities are here more because we have PARAMARSH, JUNOON AND FOOTPRINTS events happening all the year.
Teaching: some teachers will give their full effort. so, students can understand and also some are not that much comfortable

Dislikes

Hostel: because hostel capacity is of 3 to 4 students that is the main drawback.
Placements: being gujarat one of the oldest still placements lack behind but comparing to other government college or private colleges placement are good

Placement Experience:

Placements: during begining of fourth year placement starts from august as companies visit after august or september. Companies: Reliance, Adani, JSW, Atul Ltd., welspun, etc.. are visiting campus Placement %: nearly 50% or in my department higher side as highest is around 8 LPA and average is around 3 LPA. Plans: to pursue higher studies in IIT or Join PSU.

This college taught me living in timebound manners. Yes, If you are not time punctual till yet then this MSU will make you time punctual. It is surety.
Professors are highly graduated with polite manner to talk with students
Almost majority professors teach the theoretical aspects by linking to practical world.

Dislikes

Some professors possess the aggressiveness which will make you feel lower only to some extent
Average package is 7 to 8 lakhs per annum which is somewhat below average than expected.
Infrastructure is poor. Some windows are not proper and sometimes powercut issues are faced by students and professors for hours and hours.

Placement Experience:

Average package offered by companies is 7 to 8 lakhs per annum. Campus placement is also well organized by college every year so that it is being done in a well manner. Those who don't get selected by companies, are given a certificate of training by the college and they are also given the practical training too.

Psychology in MSU

Likes

Better job opportunities. Specially department of psychology provides interships and fieldwork.
Second thing I loved too much is that well trained and experienced teaching staff. They are too much kind.

Dislikes

Very tough paper paterns and exam rules.

Placement Experience:

In 3rd year of bachelor, they provide interships. 98% above students get jobs after completing the course that is assured by university it self. After I completing my bachelor I'll be apply in masters in MSU for my better future. I am not sure about avrage package it's depends on students skills.

As exams are hard minimum criteria for cgpa is hard to maintain but 80 percent is placed and averagepackage is around 5.5 - 6

Dislikes

The cleanliness in the campus can be improved and there should be equipments related to fire safety and exit and assembly points
The course can be improved and they are already working on it

Placement Experience:

The placements of our seniors are good and many of them landed good packages in the electrical domain itself Average 80 percent placement is carried out as the remaining 20 percent are left as they cannot fulfill the company criteria for minimum cgpa

They are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. Some faculty members are fantastic, while others are not. Presentations and interactive sessions are also available. They have significant industrial exposure but are highly valued in the research field.

The course curriculum is designed in such a way that all B.Sc students in life sciences (zoology, botany, and chemistry) can pursue the Master's course.
