- My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
- The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
- Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.

- The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
- The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
- 75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

- Cultural festivals and sports festivals. Diverse environment and rich cultural atmosphere. Good academic standard and best faculty members. Food here is also very good and nutritious. Students are well mannered and intelligent
Placement Experience:
Placement are very good in iits. It is a normal here that almost every student here can get placements according to their academics. Some student gets very high packages, some students also get relatively low packages. Foreign companies comes in IIT every year and provide great opportunities.

- The faculty is also good. The promote independent thinking.

- The academic pressure is sometimes too high.
- The gender ratio is not satisfactory in the college.
- Cgpa criteria is required for holding all pors.
Placement Experience:
Placements are really good even in these times of recession . Average package is around 18 Lpa . Companies that visit are from tech sector , consultancy companies as well as core companies from each department. I plan to join government service after getting my degree .

Placement Experience:
For campus placement you are eligible in your 4th year. There is a placement cell called OCS who brings companies to the campus. Amazon , google , paytm , jio , meesho , flipkart visited the campus.
highest package is around the 1Cr that i have come across
and lowest is as low as 6-7 lacs.
i am not sure about the percentage of students getting placements.
my plan is to go for the higher studies in foreign countries.

- I like the campus environment but class schedule is too much hectic for some days .
- Infrastructure is very good at my campus.
- Faculties are PhD holder from foreign colleges they have done almost sufficient reaches in there courses.
Dislikes
- What i don't like is toxicity among students. toxicity is because, everyone wants to go ahead of others.
- But faculty have not that much experience of teaching they have knowledge but they can't delever it in front of students in such way so that students can understood it.
- there are some courses which are mandatory to take. like humanities courses.
Placement Experience:
Placements are good at all, students after the 6th sem are eligible for placement. There are too many companies like Google, Amazon, Meta, and Quant companies like Jane Street, Graviton, etc come in IITD for campus placement. My plan is to do Job in a tech company.

- All the clubs are very intrective and knowledgeable

- Teaching method of professor's is not so good
- Hostel infrastructure is not well in campus
- Grading system of some courses are not good.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I got the right field in which I am interested. This coures is totally related with real word and it's problems. The main improvement I needed is in teaching skill of professors. And in exam I need time in between them to prepair for next exam.

Course in the first year in all IITs is same, the curriculum in iit is not so tough and not so easy, but there should be an improvement in teaching methods as sometimes professors lack in an interactive teaching session

- Grades matter a lot which is not mentally good for students and too much powers to professor which led to misuse.
Placement Experience:
Intership can be from any semester but college placement is done in second last sem for 4 th and 5 th year students.many leading companies like Google Amazon Microsoft optiber graviton many consultancy firms visit and around 1000 offers were made . Highest was 2.65 crore and tech and consultancy and finance companies are lead runners. Around seventy percent were placed from those who applied . I have not planned much but might go For upsc

- Doing projects under the guidance of highly qualified professor

- Small sized rooms in the hostels where we are triple sharing a room
- So many activities here don’t let an individual focus on one thing
Course Curriculum Overview:
I want more level of exposure here so I choose IIT Delhi over any other lower iits, there are enough faculty here and the ratio is good, The faculty here are very highly qualified, exams here are very difficult and at least needs 1 week of rigorous study before exam to score good grades

UG students become eligible for placements in the fourth year,
All the top-notch companies come to IITD, for example, Jane Street which offers a 4 cr package, optiver Amsterdam also offers in crores.
more than 70 percent of students get placed overall in college. the percentage is much higher for circuital branches.
I also plan for placement.

- Very high competition which sometimes becomes toxic
- Small campus and not much natural features like other IITs
- Tough curriculum and hectic schedule and lot of lab reports to prepare every week
Placement Experience:
highest package 2cr average is 17 lakh.
We become eligible in our 4th year.
I would like to go for further studies in civil engineering after completing my degree.
I don't think that companies go without making an offer.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
