IGNOU PGDECFE Fees

The PGDECFE programme at IGNOU has a total programme fee of Rs. 11,000 for the entire one-year course. In addition, students must pay a one-time non-refundable Registration Fee of Rs. 300 and a University Development Fee of Rs. 200 at the time of admission. Examination fees are charged separately when submitting the Term-End Examination form. At Rs. 11,000 total, PGDECFE is significantly more affordable than private early childhood education diploma programmes, which typically cost Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 or more.

The Registration Fee of Rs. 300 is non-refundable under all circumstances.
Fee paid will be refunded prior to confirmation of admission. After confirmation, 15% of the programme fee (subject to a ceiling of Rs. 2,000) will be deducted for cancellation requests.
No refund is admissible after 60 days from the closing date of admissions.
Examination fees are to be paid separately at the time of submitting the Term-End Examination form and are not included in the above total.
There is no hostel facility associated with this distance learning programme.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree (graduation) in any discipline from a recognised university.
There is no minimum age bar specified; however, candidates must have completed graduation.

Admission Process

Visit the IGNOU Online Admission Portal at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and complete new registration.
Select the PGDECFE programme and choose a study centre where the programme is activated.
