Faculty in my department are very good .i like the way of their teaching they are ready to entertain your doubts ready to take extra classes
The placements opportunities here are very good, as the college has some of the very best company connections thus helping us to have a bright placement opportunity.
Many scholarships are available you can avail anything one of my friends hot 50000 scholarship from ngo and it is perfect year .so that he can study well .

Dislikes

The internet was a big big disappointed, no wifi in cvr hostes );
I don't like the washing machines provided. they don't work most of the times and not good care is taken for them.
Food i was bit dissatisfied with mess food and bored of it

My College from My eyes

Likes

I liked its placement and internships opportunities. It also has a great research facilities and opportunities.
I liked its infrastructure and hostel facilities. It provides all the thing from lecture hall to tutorial block to Gymkhana and sports ground.

Dislikes

I do not like it's sports culture. Sports infrastructure is good but not upto my expectation.
I don't like it's location. It is situated in Bihta which is a village 30 km far from Capital City Patna
Some professors are very strict toward students

The 4 years B. Tech students becomes eligible from 7th semester for campus placement and dual degree students becomes elgible for campus placement from 9th semester. There are many companies that came to campus belonging to different fields like Tech, Core, Finances and management. Some of these companies are Google, Accenture, Qualcomm,Flipkart Honda, ONGC, DRDO, ISRO, BHEL, Indian Oil, L&T, etc. Number of offers vary from year to year. The average package in this time of recession is still greater than 20 LPA and around 65 % of student is placed in 24.In 22 and 23 it was around 90%.My plan is to take a job after getting my degree

Overview of IIT PATNA

Likes

I liked labs of iit patna very much .all lab have good machine and equipments
Professors are well qualified and when we reach to them they solve our doubts.
And good placement here average package of iit patna is as compared to other iits which is 20 lakhs per year around.

Dislikes

Very heat in summer in campus when we go out from hostel to academic building or tutorial block .We have to face this situation
Library is small and is full every time but a new library is being constructed

Placement Experience:

Highest package was about 1.5 crore last year.and in my mechanical brach it was 54 lakhs per annum. Average of all branches is 20lakh per annum while for CSE is 36lakh per annum and for mechanical it is 17.5lakhs per annum.this year around 85 percent has placed but remaining will be placed soon.

The thing I like about my college is it has an anti-ragging environment

Parking Facilities are not good Enough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In our first year, we were taught about the basics of all the disciplines present in our college for real-world applications. We have mid-semester and end-semester exams for every semester. The teaching method help us learn more about the subject.

IIT patna overview

Likes

hostel life is very good here with a students of almost every state.
As it is an iit , it is always good to be here.
campus area of 500 acres is huge so its quite a lot for exploration

Dislikes

weather here is very humid and hot and gets a lot of mosquitoes whole year
quite a few variety of food shops here and very few cafe
After 10 pm you cant go outside of the campus

Placement Experience:

Due to recession it is going low now but before that it was crazy. students from 3rd year ara eligible for campus placement. companies like Google, Microsoft, Uber, etc comes . T Last year highest package was 90,00,000 and about 90% in every branch were placed and my plan is also to take a job.

Likes

First the campus is large enough and naturally beautiful environment.
Second is it provides almost every kind of clubs.
Seniors are like elder brothers and sisters.

The campus placement is very good. The placements start from beginning of final year. Before it internships is being provided from first year. The highest package is 82 lacs and averege is 26 lacs. Approx 86 percent students paced from campus.

well qualified faculty and friendly staff.
availablity of sports faculity and regular competition is organised
fests are organised at regular interval at a large scale

Dislikes

Location is less mobile and bit far from airport

Placement Experience:

students are elegible for placement after 6th semester. Large no of companies visited the campus for placement drive. Avg package is 12 lakh and highest is 78 Lakh (til now). almost 90% of students getting placed .

THE LOCATION OF THE CAMPUS IS QUITE ODD, BEING TO FAR FROM THE MAIN CITY PATNA

Life at IITP

Likes

Cultural club activities and it's active nature
Yavanika, the dramatic society of IIT Patna
STC being active and achieving great things at international level

Dislikes

Hectic academic schedule and frequent examination
College politics and specially Gymkhana elections
Lack of proper sports infrastructure and equipments

The course is focused on overall development. The labs are helpful in understanding the core concepts of the theory and helps in visualising them. Exams are held quarterly and are subjective in nature.

A genuine review after 10 months in IIT PATNA

Likes

Infrastructure which contains a wonderful library
The welfare of the students the care taken by the seniors
The cultural events which are happening the whole year around

Dislikes

The location of the college which is far from the city making it hard to transport
The academic management which will never get worse
The local food which is kinda boring with not many options

Placement Experience:

This iit has got one of the best placements of all the colleges which are offered in the campus with the average and median just over thirty lakhs per annum as the base pay But the improvement isn't that good in the new times but it's expected to be improved in the coming 3 years
