IIT Patna, in collaboration with IIIT Ranchi, has announced that applications are open for its industry-oriented Joint Hybrid Degree programs for the Autumn (July) 2026 session. These regular degree programs are designed to provide maximum flexibility for both students and working professionals through a blend of live online lectures and campus immersion.

The collaboration between IIT Patna and IIIT Ranchi focuses on Postgraduate (PG) excellence, offering a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Computer Applications (MCA), and a Master of Technology (M.Tech) with specializations in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Engineering (AI & DSE) and Cloud Computing & IoT.

For all these programs, the Application Fee is ₹6,000, which is non-refundable and excluded from the semester fee.

Eligibility varies by program, with specific relaxations for working professionals:

• MBA: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 50% marks (or equivalent CGPA).
  • Relaxation: 2.5% marks relaxation per year of work experience (up to a maximum of 10%).
• MCA: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Mathematics at the 10+2 level OR a degree in IT/Computer Science.
  • Minimum 50% marks (or equivalent CGPA).
  • Relaxation: 2.5% marks relaxation per year of work experience (up to a maximum of 10%).
• M.Tech (AI & DS):
  • B.Tech / BE / MSc (CS, IT, Maths, Stats, Physics, etc.) / MCA / ME.
  • Minimum 60% marks (or 6.5 CGPA) at the UG level.
  • Relaxation: 2.5% marks relaxation per year of work experience (Minimum 50% at UG level; max relaxation 10%).
