The Directorate of AYUSH Chhattisgarh has released the Round 1 provisional merit list for BAMS, BHMS and BNYS admissions 2026-27. Eligible candidates can check the list on cgayush.admissions.nic.in ahead of seat allotment.
The Directorate of AYUSH (DAY), Chhattisgarh has released the Round 1 provisional merit list for the AYUSH Undergraduate (UG) Counselling 2026-27. The merit list was published on September 18, 2026. Eligible candidates can view their rank on the official portal at cgayush.admissions.nic.in.
The counselling covers three undergraduate programmes: Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), and Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS). The Directorate has issued two separate lists: one combined merit list for BAMS and BHMS and another dedicated list for BNYS aspirants.
Only candidates who registered during the Round 1 window are included in the merit list. Registration and choice filling for Round 1 closed on September 16, 2026. Applicants must cross-check their name, category, and merit rank on the portal.

Who Features in the Chhattisgarh AYUSH Merit List?
The Chhattisgarh AYUSH merit list is prepared based on NEET UG 2026 scores. Candidates must have qualified for NEET UG 2026 according to the prescribed AYUSH cut-off requirements. They must also possess a valid Chhattisgarh domicile certificate for admission under the state quota.
The merit position depends on the candidate’s NEET UG 2026 score. Category-wise reservations are applied according to Chhattisgarh state rules. Tie-breaking is carried out following the norms notified by the Directorate of AYUSH.

Chhattisgarh AYUSH Participating Institutes
The counselling covers 2 government colleges and 9 private AYUSH colleges in Chhattisgarh. Government seats are available at colleges in Raipur and Bilaspur, while private colleges are spread across Raipur, Durg, and Rajnandgaon.
Government college seats follow an 85 percent state quota and 15 percent All India Quota distribution. Private colleges offer seats under the state merit and management quotas. Candidates can check the complete seat matrix in the notice section of the official counselling portal.

How to Check the Chhattisgarh AYUSH UG Round 1 Merit Rank?
Candidates can check the merit list by following these steps:
- Visit the official portal at cgayush.admissions.nic.in.
- Click on the Round 1 Merit List link available on the homepage.
- Select the combined merit list for BAMS and BHMS or the separate list for BNYS.
- Open the PDF and search using the NEET UG 2026 roll number.
- Download and save the merit list PDF for future reference.

What Happens After the Merit List?
The Directorate will publish the Round 1 seat allotment result on September 23, 2026. Candidates who receive a seat must download and print their allotment letter.
Document verification and admission at the allotted college will be conducted from September 28 to September 30, 2026. Candidates must report to the allotted institute with all their original certificates. Failure to report within the specified period may result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.
