- Here the faculty is very nice they are ready help when students need there help
- Here placements is so good and many top companies are approaching to the college students here having good opportunity for the placements average placements is about 13lakhs per annual combining all branches
- Many scholarships like fcc, nsp and others are student welfare related and do help the students alot.
Dislikes
- Scholarship are there for weak section of society.. my fees is somewhat between 140000 to 150000 years as i didn't receive any scholarship or anything.
- The hostel facility is not that great, there is a food problem in terms of taste and water problem in terms of hygiene, there are some issues with the internet also.
- The attendance criteria is really strict and the behaviour of the professors are not good

Placement Experience:
Our college provides good placements with an overall average College of 14 lakh per annum, where CSE has a 24 lakh average package, also mechanical has an average of approx 10 lacks, many companies, and PSUs visit the campus wihe highest placement of more than 44lakhs, I have a plan to take the on-campus placements.

- Good startup culture college establish a startup center
- Campus is full greenery and nearly 20 lakes in campus

- Hostels are not up to the mark which is decent
- Boys to girls ratio is very low is 1:9 in the college
- Weather is so hot in the nit silchar college
Placement Experience:
6th semester onwards placements are started and companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe and highest package is 80 lakh per year and average package is 14 lakh per year and the placement percentage is 90%.

- Campus environment with lot of greenery and with beautiful ponds in the campus .
- Hostel was too big with all the facilities.
- Department was too big with good teaching staffs
Dislikes
- Hostel foods and bad hygienic and no floor mens to clean the rooms
Placement Experience:
The placement at college was good. The maximum package offered was 12.5 by Federal Bank and the mimimum was 2.5 by ICIC bank. The average package was 5.5. I got a placement offer from Collegedunia and I am very happy to got placed.

- Campus life is very good...u will enjoy each and every day.
- Faculties are also very good except some .
Placement Experience:
In 3rd semester.. students become eligible for placement some get PPO after doing their summer internship program....about 70 percentage students get placed in companies... highest package is 14 L and the average is 5 L

- The campus i liked the best it consists of good nature
- The events held in the silchar those are very entertaining
- The library which is the asias largest digital library
Dislikes
- The hostel food it is sometimes goos and sometimes not good
- And maintenance of hostel is also not very much good
- The overall space of our college is not used only some part is used

Placement Experience:
In the 7th semester, we are eligible for placements. Many companies are visited our college like amazon, Vodafone, Samsung, etc. The highest package is 55 lakh and the average package is 14 lakh.94 percent of students get placed every year. I plan to settle in a good software company.

- The Campus has greenery, lakes and it is surrounded with nature. Overall, the campus life is great here.
- The Clubs are super active. So, it keeps you busy with works.
- NIT Silchar is a happening place. You will be enjoying a fest every now & then.
Dislikes
- labs need some renovation, new instruments/devices.
- 8-5 classes are sometimes too hectic. We have to manage with this schedule every day.
- The LAN speed is worse.

Placement Experience:
The placement in NIT Silchar is decent. You will be eligible for placement from the 4th year but you will be associated with the T&P cell from the 3rd year. The companies which came for placements in 2022 are Samsung R&D Institute, Bangalore, Larsen and Toubro, Bharat Electronics Limited, Amazon Web Services, Vedanta Resources Limited, Make My Trip, etc. The highest package is 44 LPA in 2022 offered by Amazon Web Services and the average package is 15-16 LPA. Almost 95% of students get placed in CSE & and 90% in ECE, followed by EIE whereas in other branches the percentage is low. After getting the degree, I will be seating for placements and getting a Job Of course.
