Likes
- Here the faculty is very nice they are ready help when students need there help
- Here placements is so good and many top companies are approaching to the college students here having good opportunity for the placements average placements is about 13lakhs per annual combining all branches
- Many scholarships like fcc, nsp and others are student welfare related and do help the students alot.
Dislikes
- Scholarship are there for weak section of society.. my fees is somewhat between 140000 to 150000 years as i didn't receive any scholarship or anything.
- The hostel facility is not that great, there is a food problem in terms of taste and water problem in terms of hygiene, there are some issues with the internet also.
- The attendance criteria is really strict and the behaviour of the professors are not good

- Clubs are too much active in our campus and they tough too many things to us
- Also the fest culture. There are fest named techno ,incand ,posua are very a joyful
- There are no ragging case in our college which is a good for a college life
Dislikes
- Academic section is very hectic for us also not too much supported
- Also silchar city is very dirty city and language problem they only speak bengali
Placement Experience:
After 7 th semesters they are eligible for placement
Samsung, Google, Microsoft, some core branches, and PSU come in our campus
Around 80% stundets get placement in every year
I will apper for governments exam

- The atmosphere...the greenery ....the culture among juniors and seniors
- The interactive sessions among juniors and seniors is what I love
- The events organised by various clubs gives immense opportunities
Dislikes
- The curriculum is somewhat outdated and old-fashioned
- The labs need to be refurbished ..the library needs upgradation
- The teaching methods should be more engaging and question papers more relevant in terms of what has been taught in class
Placement Experience:
Placements are actually satisfactory if you get your hands on the required skills it's easy to excel in the it industry. we can't expect too many core jobs.
The companies visiting are top notch like Samsung Ola uber AWS etc.

- campus life is the one thing which i admire the most in nit silchar. Facuties are very friendly and their teaching quality is best.
Dislikes
- Hostel management ( mess food,intenet connection,sanitization etc) is very poor.
Placement Experience:
The placements are absolutely top-notch here. 90% of the students found campus placements. The highest package is 80 lpa(on campus). The average package stands at 15-16 Lpa and minimum package is 7Lpa. Many students also got off-campus placements.
