NIT Silchar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 7 semester students are eligible for placements There are many companies which visits our college such as Amazon , HCl , oracle , Wipro , Goldman Sachs etc The highest package this year about 80 lakhs and the average package is about 12 lakhs The placements percentage is good almost 80% of total ug students get placed My plans after getting a degree is to get a job

One of the reason for which I selected this Institute is its placement percentage. The placement of this college is descent if u have enough knowledge about your intrest. Both core and Tech companies often like to visit in the campus. Approx 85% students got placed throughout the college. Most probably from 7th Semester students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of this college is about 12 lac. After getting the degree I wanna to go in the civil services or want to working in PSU'S.

Placements are one of the best things about this college. The TnP cell is very good and it brings a lot of companies for the college. The average package for ECE is good and if you put in more effort you can easily get a good package

The third year student is prominent for placement in companies that have recruited from NIT Silchar include Amazon, Microsoft,Adobe, Swiggy and SAP, among other.For instant Amazon extended . The average package is 15 lap and highest package is80 lap . Around 85 percent of student is placed from civil branch. After greeting degree I want job.

As per our seniors and professors, placements are quite good here. EIE (Electronics and Instrumentation), CSE, EE and ECE have more IT sector jobs, ME and CE have scope for core jobs but a high CGPA is required for them, and that's why mostly people go for tech companies after maintaininig a decent CGPA of >= 7.5, could change to >= 8 in the following years. Many poeple got for civil services, GATE and other competitive exams, some go for further studies: national and foreign both. Highest placement would be around 50 LPA for some tech company and average would be 10-11 LPA. Students get eligible for campus placement in the 4th year, subject to having no active backlogs, and having an CGPA >=7.5 as of yet. In the third year, everyone must complete an internship, being it indsutrial or research based. It is recommened for 2 internships in these 4 years. My plans are to sit for placements in the core sector, and do a lot of thigs all together so let me see what happens, we'll change accordingly.

From third year, students are eligible for internships. And final year offer placements. Core companies as well all major IT companies visit the campus. The highest package offered is approx 1Cr. The percentage of getting placed is about 80% and my plans are to not pursue higher education

The placements are very good in NIT Silchar which makes it a highly preferred college by most engineering aspirants. There is mandatory industry exposure which can be done through internships at the end of 2nd year or in 3rd year. High number of companies visit the campus each year including tech as well as core companies. Highest package goes as high as 60LPA and average is 13LPA. Majority of the students get placed and the others opt for higher studies. I will be preparing for placements and try to secure a job through campus placements

From fifth semester students become eligible for internship opportunities under campus placements. Companies that visit our college were Amazon,ZS,Wipro,Deloitte,Tata Motors,Jindal,Flipkart,Sigmoid and many more. The highest package is 52 lakh and average is 12 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students getting placed is above 90 percent for cse department and above 80 percent for core branches. Here eie placement is also decent its better than electrical department .

Placements are very good of this college. Mostly students are placed in companies with decent pacages. But cgpa are play most important role in placement and Circuital branch placement is so good. From 5th semester students are eligible.150 companies with 600 offers. The highest pacage is 50lakh and average is 9lakh. The 80% students are place from 2025 batch. My plan will do job in it sector.And This is good scenirio of placement. it is good college if you think you will get admission in that college.

Placement of NIT silchar is pretty good. Average package is around 12 Lpa. Although after corona the placement dropped but still it is good. Many big tech companies visit during placement for full time and internship. Core companies also visits for different roles. During our placement season it happens generally after 7th semester. Generally criteria for sitting in any company varies based on cgpa and sometimes 10th and 12th marks depends on company to company generally it is 6 or 7 or 8 cgpa. Good it companies offer 20-30lpa and lowest offer was 6th lpa.
