NIT Warangal Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Initially it is my home townI preferred because it has 1st ranking among all NITs in placement and over 4th positionBut according to cse department it secured 2nd position Good environment and habitat. Admission process:After getting the results of jee mains conducted by josaa then we have to select and arrange the colleges in a preference order either by department wise or by college wise it depends on him/herself Josaa conducts totally 7 rounds of counseling After completion of 1st round we have report near by josaa allocated centre's for further process in next rounds

Good--- Location is near my home town , all facilities easily accessible , near Hyderabad, Good placement stats, good faculty, Good courseAdmission process was offline for us , and was not properly organized NIT Warangal is among the top technical institutes in India with good placements, good environment, infrastructure, education, a large campus of 248 acres and many more. Admission in NIT Warangal is done on the basis of entrance exam JEE Mains. You must have a good rank for admission in this college. Admission started after the Counseling process in June-July. And class started in the last week of July. This college has Asia's largest Hostel named ULTRA MEGA HOSTEL having 1.8k students capacity. Placement is pretty good as compared to other NITs. Many fun activities Like tech fest are organised 2 times per year namely Technozion and Spring spree. --- I agree with this quora answer

From 7 th semester students are eligible to participate in campus placement. NITW has a dedicated placement team to manage companies and placements. Lots of MNCs like Microsoft, amazon, BNY, Mastercard, Citibank, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, Bosch, JK Tyres, Tata steels and other 200 companies visited the campus. Highest CTC is 52 LPA while average Package ranges from 13-15 LPA. Students were offered Software Engineer, Management Trainee, data analyst, consultant, Graduate Engineer traineee roles. 80 percent of total students are placed. From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. More than 90 companies visited during our final year and about 800+ offers were made with the highest package of 51LPA and 8LPA as the average package for various profiles 80+% of students were placed for most of the courses

From 4th Year 1st semester students become eligible to sit for placements. Over 200 companies including Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Atlasian visit campus every year. Highest package for 2020-21 was CTC 52 lakhs offered by Atlasian comapny. More than 70% student get placed.

Students are eligible for campus placements from fourth year. Companies hire students from the beginning of the fourth year. Some of the companies are Microsoft, Qualcomm, samsung, Texas instruments, ISRO, Tata, Accenture, wipro, Infosys, Cisco,Ansys, Visa, ICICI, IBM,xilinx, Dell,nvedia etc.. For BTech ECE percentage of students getting placed is around 93. Highest package for ECE is 36lpa.

My college is famous for the great placements that it has to offer. Most of the students end up having a job after graduation. The campus life is great. The localities near the institute are also very promising. Moreover it's close to my home so it was my first preference.

Brand name of the college, and quality of faculties and placements. Admission process is simply based on JEE MAIN rank followed by choice filling in JOSAA. Reason of preferring this college over others was that in other colleges I was not getting good courses.

The good aspects are that student is free to work in clubs and learn skills as professors don't presurize much and students are free. We don't get hectic schedule and many semester,there are less classes in comparison to other NIT's. The bad aspect is the placement scenario,though the rank of college is 8th or 9th among NIT's, the average salary of students is 5.5lpa and almost only 70% students get placed. The mess food is terrible as it is in almost every NIT's mess.

After completing my schooling, I decided that I want to pursue B.Tech in CSE and for that I started looking for institutes that'll be good for me and from everyone, I got to know that NIT Warangal would be the best place as the program records 100% placement opportunities after the completion of the program. Also, it turned out to be the most opted course of the institute. Hence, to join the college, I applied here through the online portal of the website and for that I paid an application fee of INR 1600.
