Remarks

My college is famous for the great placements that it has to offer. Most of the students end up having a job after graduation. The campus life is great. The localities near the institute are also very promising. Moreover it's close to my home so it was my first preference.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The faculty is pretty qualified. Keeping in mind that mode of exam conduction is online, exams were tough and sequential pattern was chosen for questions so as to minimise ill-practices during exams. CSE was my first preference but I had heard before that companies consider all circuit branches kids and thereby went ahead with ECE. Now that I have a better understanding of ECE, it's pretty interesting

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Not yet. But there are multiple companies that come to Select students for internships mostly software. Companies like DE Shaw and Uber give about 1.5 lakhs per month as stipend to their interns. Other companies like Microsoft, oracle, Samsung, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs also visit the campus with wonderful stipend packages for their interns.

Placement Experience

4.5

Great placements, wonderful track record. Our college is in fact famous for the number of students that end up getting placed after their graduation. Highest packages go up to 50 lakhs per annum CTC. Average for software companies is about 20 lakhs per annum CTC. There are many students who go on to pursue Masters both In India and abroad.

Campus Life

5

There are numerous clubs. You name it it's their. Dance, music, literary and debate, technical, financial, photography, business and many more. We have innovation garage which is student led and helps in the development of budding startups apart form hosting great events. We have 2 fests, Technozian which is our technical fest and SpringSpree which is out cultural fest. Through out the academic year we have guests who address us. Campus life is great and green! We have a series of cafes that we call food street. The centre of our institute in the shape of square is the Times Square! We have physical education department which badminton courts and gym. We have tennis, volleyball, kabbadi courts and a stadium. All in all it's a great for campus life!

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are alright, probably because I expected more. They are manageable. Not aware about how hostels for boys are, but first year girls have 4 in a room and 2 thereafter. The mess food is delicious with a lot of variety. We have optional snacks in the evenings. We also have a store in our hostel to buy biscuits, chips and stuff of that sort.

Admission

SAT2 for DASA students and JEE for others

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Highest package is around 58 lakhs after doing mba and the average package is around 10.5 to 11 lakhs. 95% of the students get placed. My plan after getting the degree is work for a couple of years maybe.

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course as I dreamt of becoming a doctor since I was a child. In our college, the faculty is good and are qualified enough. They teach the basic things and make us learn things in a clear way. There will be two internal exams, one prefinal exam in every year. Those with an average of 50% in internal exams are allowed to write the final exams. There is quite a difficulty in passing the final exam as there is a vast syllabus.
