NIT Warangal Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements this year are not that good but TNPS tried hard to bring a lot many companies for better placements. 3rd years are eligible for internships and final years are eligible for placements some companies offer internships for final years too.

Every year NITW is top among all the NITs in placement stats.But due to recession in the IT field the number of placements has been dropped this year. Approximately 60 percent of students placed in all the programmes.The highest package was 88 LPA. My plans after graduation is doing job.

The placements in the college is good for student with high academic excellence, the students gets eligible for placement at beginning of 4th year The companies visited this year are ICICI Bank,Zomato,Swiggy,Uber,Ola etc the average offer s provided by this companies are around 4-5. The highest package offer is 50 lakhs.Percentage of students getting placed are good enough around 90-95 % The plan after getting the degree is to be in good position

Students are eligible from 6th semester for internships which is extended for Full time based on the performance in internships.I am interested in software field where companies are open for chemical like Oracle,Meesho, Saplabs etc.95% percentage of students are placed and 15lpa is the avg package.

The number of placements this year (2024) has decreased due to the recession in the IT sector.However, NIT WARANGAL is typically recognized for its placements. 800 students have been placed so far with an average LPA of 12 across all courses.More than 200 businesses have come this year to hire.60% of the students that were placed were in a variety of fields.(It was 80% the year before). The highest-priced package, from Thoughtspot, cost 88LPA. After I graduate, I want to continue my education.

Chemical engineering course mostly has the concepts related to physics and mathematics.My rank was close to the chemical engineering at nit Warangal and was keen on choosing a better college.We definitely have more industrial visits related to oil and natural gas companies.We were mostly taught based on the ppts but we need a live sessions. The exams were moderate level and correction was also difficult.

Final year students are eligible for campus placements and 3rd years can apply for internships. Based on your performance in internships they will offer PPO . Average package 7 lakhs per annum. As placements not complete yet we don't know the highest package

Since this is in top 5 NITs in India and well reputed university , the employment / placements stats are good. From the start of the 4th year / final year of UG , students will be eligible for placements (from 7th semester) Top most companies have visited our campus namely Microsoft -1 Google -1 Coca-Cola - 4 Verizon - 5 BPCL - 12 HPCL - 10 Reliance INDUSTRIES - 8 ICICI - 7 Deloitte - 0 Wipro - 30 JSW Paints - 6 Samsung - 0 Tata Steel - 2 Axis bank - 4 Uber - 2 Qualcomm-8 etc., Almost 80 to 90+ % placements in every branch My plan is to work in a highly reputed software company and doing MBA after 3 to 4 years of work experience
