College Life at NITW

You will get admission to NITS by attempting and qualifying in JEE exam conducted by NTA . It will twice in a year after 12th . Based on reservation we get the admission into the college and the course .

The Chemical Engineering course is not related to chemistry. Chemical Engineering is way far from chemistry course .Actually it a good course but I'm not interested in it .As the technology in Chemical industries is upgrading we need to teach and provide advanced technologies in learning about Chemical Engineering not like sticking to the old age refining and process technologies now that are teaching .

The internships are on Software developers, Analysts, Some core companies. In our college the faculty will offer internships for other college students they can come and do there inters over a period of 4 to 6 months during semester breaks.

Final year students are eligible for campus placements and 3rd years can apply for internships. Based on your performance in internships they will offer PPO . Average package 7 lakhs per annum. As placements not complete yet we don't know the highest package

The fee structure is based on the annual income of the students family . There will be no academic fee to SC/ST/PwD and annual income below 1 lakh students .Hostel and mess fee is common for all .Coming to scholarships institution will not give any idea on scholarships, my opinion inthat is if a student is eligible to any of scholarships it is better to be applied by the institution because for some people they will not know about any type of scholarship even they are eligible for also .

There will be no time for personal space also sometimes it will get hectic and talking about fests they should be a stress relief but we can also see restrictions in that ..even for the participants they need to have a good academic background.

Not as much as good . No proper ventilation ,neatness , coming food it's horrible as a government and prestigious institution they need to provide good facilities to students. Healthy student can only able to study and perform good in academics and extra curriculum activities
