The tech fests are very good and the profs are good as well
Our clg placements stats are pretty good all top companies like, google, microsoft, amazon, etc.
The hostel and food at iiith are better than at other colleges in india.

Dislikes

The schedule is quite hectic .there will be many assignment deadlines on the same day . assignments are sometimes very difficult which needs topics which we have never been taught till . also plagiarism checks sucks as they are not always correct.
The mess food not up to the mark and some times it wont be nice.
85% Attendance Criteria: Its compulsory for students to have atleast 85% attendance in all the subjects or else suffer from grade drops.

Navigating Brilliance: A Deep Dive into IIIT Hyderabad's Campus Culture, Placement Prowess, and Academic Marvels

I like the curriculum of IIITH as it is different from other colleges in India.
The hostel and food at IIITH are better than at other colleges in India.
Placement is way good, and at the end, everyone wants a high paying job.

Dislikes

The sports infrastructure of our college is not good. It need a lot of improvement.
Due to this busy schedule, we cannot explore ourselves or our interests
We don't have a good annual Fest. Since we have only two branches in our college, so participation from students is very less.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements at IIITH are very good; that's why it is compared with top 5 IITs. The average package for CSE is 31 LPA and for ECE it is 29 LPA. From 7 semester on, students become eligible for campus placements. There are several big companies that came for placements like Microsoft, Google, Apple, Qualcomm, Sprinklr, etc. Highest package was 1.04 Cr last year. For CSE and ECE B.tech students, we have 100% students placement. I want to work as SDE for some years and later I'll see what I want to do.

Likes

Placement and The Academic curiculum followed
Competitive Environment among the students
the mess food is pretty great here in college

Dislikes

since the students are less in number so we have very less participation in cultural events and the events are not at that massive level like it happens in other colleges like IIITs and all. But overall there is no deficiency of cultural activities
sports activities are not that promoted but we have all facilities
academic pressure is a little overwelhming

Placement Experience:

Campus Placements occur after 4th year's 1st semester during December We have 100% placement and the Avg CTC last year was a whooping amount of 33 lakhs per annum highest was above 1 crore all the companies visit our college google,microsoft,uber,rubrik,etc

Campus life is really good , its a nice baultiful and active campus where u can see very nice greenery , dogs and people always cheerful.
The faculty is not very upto mark , but if u plan to just study and have a hood placement , they are good for u.
Infrastructure and the courses too are the best here.

Dislikes

I disliked the fact that the college is focus mainly on placements .
The curriculum in initial days feel very dull and not willing to study for that. basically useless.
Sports and intra college activities get neglected easily .

Placement Experience:

Umm i guess from the 3rd year i.e 5th sem , students star getting internship from topmost companies. The college has a 100% placement policy. Highest package in ECE was 1.02 cr and avg is 29 lakhs for 2k23.

MY IIIT JOURNEY

Likes

The faculty teaching is awesome ,support for extra curriculars is decent
Labs have very good equipment and fascinating exposure
coding culture is top notch and our teams represent icpc here

Dislikes

gender ratio is decent here ,not a big problem but worth to mention
sometimes the washrooms are not so clean
dogs in the campus are a bit scary and there arent much cons here

Placement Experience:

This college is named for placements and average package is 32 lakhs for cld here so there is no problem of placements here and highest is around 65 lakh in cld and 99% students get placed unless they opt for further research or any other reason

The IIIT H review from a UG1 POV

Likes

Good Location for exploring lot of things here and size of campus is good
Good and precise academics enhancing the right skills

Dislikes

85% attendance is way too high ,it should be around 75-80.
Less participation of people in non academic activities
Decent sports facilities but can be improved

Placement Experience:

This college is named for its 100% placements in BTech. Students in BTech become eligible from the 5th semester and dual degree students from the 7th semester. The placement statistics can be checked at iiit.ac.in. The highest package on campus is 1.2 Crore and the lowest is 12L while the average is 27L. I did not fix any plan after getting my degree as I'm still exploring.

HONEST REVIEW OF IIIT HYDERABAD

Likes

Senior are too good as they help us in many ways.
We are allowed to move in and out of campus 24*7 so there is enough freedom.
As the size of campus is small, locomotion is easy and there is no need of bicycles.

Dislikes

There is no LAN for first year students.
The wifi provided by institute does not allow us to play games
There are plenty of assignments given so that there is very few free time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the placements for this course seemed to be good and also IIIT HYDERABAD has a reputation for having good coding culture. The faculty ratio is 1:100. Exams are monthly and the weightage of the mid-semester and end-semester is high.

Likes

The culture and laid back vibe of the college is good. There are trees and greenery everywhere. Cute dogs also roam around the campus. It’sa beautiful campus.
The seniors are also very supportive. You learn just as much from your seniors as much you learn from professors.
The coding culture is really great. Everyone here strives to be a good coder here.

Dislikes

We are given assignments almost every week and though students can learn a lot from them but sometimes you can start to feel under pressure.
There are dogs on the campus and some people are scared of them and sometimes dogs barks unnecessarily.
There is a minimum 85% attendance policy.

Almost all tech companies visit the campus for placements like Microsoft, Google, Apple, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, etc. The average package is 32 lacs and the highest domestic package is 70 lacs. The college has 100% placements. After getting the degree I want to do my own startup.

IIIT Hyderabad: An Academic Gem - A Review of Excellence

I liked that there is no reservation here , so people coming here are very nice . and the environment here at hyderabd is very rejuvenating .
The coding culture at iiith is very exceptional i will say the best in india , it fosters innovation and collaboration

Dislikes

The campus life here is relentlessly studious and hectic, offering little respite. the constant academic pressure hampers personal well being
The club events are organised on a very small scale and there is very less engagement by the students is an issue .

Placement Experience:

As we are still in the first year , we do not have much idea about the placements here, but here is what I know The placement cell here at IIITH is very active throughout the year, they really strive to get almost all of the people here at the college decent placements and valuable internships. Students become eligible for campus placements after coming into the 4rth year. some of the famous companies which come here at iiith are the following - amazon , microsoft , goldman sachs , google, adobe , flipkart , qualcomm , ibm . highest package here at iiit for cse branch was 74 lpa and lowest was 20 lpa .

My IIITH experience

Likes

Amazing coding culture and robotics culture
The tech fests are very good and the profs are good as well
The best thing is placements which are 27 for ece and 32 for cse

Dislikes

The sports facilities are not upto the mark
The campus life and cultural fests are mediocre
The academic curriculum is very rigorous theres no time for extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. All the top companies including google microsoft amazon rubriks visited the campus, The placement rate is above 95% and I plan to go for higher studies(mtech) after completion of my course

I liked it's curriculum because it's environment is full of coding
I liked it's hostel facilities and free use of machines
I also liked the mess food but sometimes it's awesome

Not much college life as it has more attendance policies
Distance between classroom and hostels are much
It's too expensive and some professors are also not good
