- Campus life is really good , its a nice baultiful and active campus where u can see very nice greenery , dogs and people always cheerful.
- The faculty is not very upto mark , but if u plan to just study and have a hood placement , they are good for u.
- Infrastructure and the courses too are the best here.
Dislikes
- I disliked the fact that the college is focus mainly on placements .
- The curriculum in initial days feel very dull and not willing to study for that. basically useless.
- Sports and intra college activities get neglected easily .
Course Curriculum Overview
I have my interest in Electronics. Same teacher teaches both the sections having aproximately 340 students. The teachers are well qualified and have good teaching methods that are clear to everyone. Term exams went pretty timely and it was difficult to pass if u haven't studied or paid attention in class.
Internships Opportunities
Basically all the major companies , like google microsoft ,apple , qualcomm , nvidia , etc like evry company u have heard of comes to the campus for placements in CS and ECE backgrounds. I do not know the projects and the outcomes to clarify these since i myself is in first year.
Placement Experience
Umm i guess from the 3rd year i.e 5th sem , students star getting internship from topmost companies. The college has a 100% placement policy. Highest package in ECE was 1.02 cr and avg is 29 lakhs for 2k23.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes the fees is high related to other institutes but it is worth in an institution like IIITH. Cost of study and food etc in the city of hyderabad is high and hence it makes everything costly for students.
Campus Life
There is just 1 techno cultural fest happeing in IIITH which is named as Felicity in the month of Februrary . The books and other sources to study are easily available in library. The extra curricular actuvitues here are pretty good if u want to participate. but it lacks in organising Intracollege activities. Everything done in the college is done by group of seniors elected to do so.
Hostel Facilities
Facilities provided in the room are basic like a bed , study table and an almorah only. Meals and menu are not upto mark . Hostel fees + mess gives a tital of ?45000 per month. There is no possibility of renting a room or pg , u are easily alloted a hostel room.
Admission
U should be having 99.6 % + in jee mains if you are a boy . Its available on the website name iiit.ac.in ( admissions happen through many other modes too). No reservation for boys, but there is some female criteria.
