It offers a great placement after the course completion, companies like microsoft, amazon google, flipkart and other companies like goldman sachs come to recruit new freshers in their companies and even offer internships as well.
The fests conducted in our college are worth enjoying and marvelous talent is encouraged.
No fees hike policy.cost to study is a bit high for a government organisation but it's worth it.scholarship opportunities financial assistance and job opportunities are very satisfactory over here.

Dislikes

The scholarship availability should not be below 5 lakh.. it should be a larger number beacuse 5 lakh income is lower income than a lower middle class family.
The faculty advisor is a very rude and strict person who doesn't understand the student's problems.
Placements for lower branches are not that good and being a remote area more companies are not coming to college

Placement Experience:

From the 7th-semester companies visit for recruiting, then their different processes for the company as per the company's requirement. All companies whether working in tech or non-tech domains both are there are recruited. I don't know of other branches but for my branch, almost all student gets placed. The institute also has a placement cell which is always there to help you in your journey.

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty good in NIT Rourkela. Placement season starts in the 4th year. Most of the big product-based companies visit the campus for placements. Starting your preparation in 2nd year and you can get the placements easily in your placements season.

At the start of 4th year(7th semester) companies start to come to campus for recruitment. The highest package was 56 lac and the average is 20lac. And placement percentage of the CSE branch is 100%. Companies come for different profiles like software and core.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are really good, almost all big product-based companies visit the campus for recruitment. In 3rd year students are eligible for internship season and in their 4th year, they will be eligible for their placement season.

NIT ROURKELA IS BEST FOR ALL THE STUDENTS

Placement Experience:

Because this is a four-year undergraduate degree course so 3rd year of students become ready for campus placements. Many top national and termination companies visited my college and higher students for jobs and also internship and offer valuable packages. Approx 50 to 60 per cent of students are placed per year in my college.

NIT Rourkela is top engeeneering and technology institute in india.

Placement Experience:

There is a 4-year undergraduate degree course so 3rd year of students are eligible for campus placement and they start preparing for Interviews. Top electrical companies are visited in my college and they higher the students. Almost 30 per cent of students are placed in different fields and this is the best percentage according to placement. My plan after getting a degree preparation for an interview to get a job.

NIT Rourkela: The Blazing Ground for Opportunities.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the last year of their completion of the course, although most of us got the PPO (Pre Placement Offer) before the campus placement at the end of our internships. This year (2022) 325 companies visited for campus placements and a total of 1,274 offers were made. The highest CTC offered was up to 46 lakhs rupees and the average CTC offered is 11.2 lakhs rupees for the software, core and analytics companies combined. Some of the companies which offered the handsome packages are Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Oracle. Overall approx 93 per cent of students are placed during this year's campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really good.All the faculty members and college staffs are really helpful and cooperative.Most of the faculty members are Phd holders with decent amount of konowledge.We have 4 exams each year you can score good marks if you study regularly.

Life inside NIT Rourkela.

Placement Experience:

NIT Rkl has a well-maintained history of campus placements. All the top branches have 90+% placements with a median salary of 15 lacs CTC per annum, the highest of 45lacs and the minimum of 9 lacs per annum. Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester onwards. There are many MNCs, LLCs, and other private ltd companies that visit the campus for placement. The training and placement cell of the college is always up and ready to help you with it and they ensure that a maximum number of students get placed each year. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Tata, HCL, DELL, Qualcomm, Texas, etc are names of some of the most reputed companies that visit the campus during the placement season. You can definitely sit for placements or can prepare for GATE and PSU jobs like me. As being from a core dept, chances of getting jobs in Govt sector is also high.

Placement Experience:

After the 4th semester, internship offers come to college, companies approach college. companies like - Microsoft, Amazon, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Accenture, Samsung, Qualcomm, AMD, Adobe, Mediatek, and Intel are famous here. Companies like Flipkart, and Hotstar offered a 1lakh per month stipend, in internship. in 21-22. For placements, The highest package this year is 46.04 LPA from Microsoft for 12 students, followed by Amazon 44 LPA and NVIDIA, AMD too offered descent packages In top branches nearly 97% + get placed. Other branches depends.

A friend at NIT Rourkela gave me a detailed review of her college the last time she visited me. Here are some highlights from her descriptive experience

NIT Rourkela has a huge, serene, and well-secured campus.
The institute has diverse clubs that promote extracurricular activities and their performance is better than most clubs of other engineering colleges.
Decent Internet speed is offered and the Dc++ is well maintained.
The hostels are well-maintained and decked with all the basic amenities one could ask for.
Students are actively involved in sports such as gymming and swimming.
The faculties are a mixed bag. Some are underqualified and lethargic while some motivate you to become a better person.
The institute boasts of an extensive entrepreneurship culture.
The institute needs to work on increasing its alumni base and the level of fests it organizes given the huge income the institute generates.
The placement scenario varies from branch to branch. It's decent for branches like CS while pathetic for others.
Rourkela does not have any places to explore and also lacks flight connectivity.
The city of Rourkela is one of the cleanest places so hygiene is not an issue here.
