IIIT Bhubaneswar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Based on my merit in the JEE-Mains,i had quite a few options to choose from but I opted for this college as it is among the top notch colleges in the country with reasonably good placement opportunities. The college is located at a suitable distance from all the necessary services and is easily accessible. The region too has an ambient climate. Information Technology and Computer Science are the best courses to pursue here as the faculties are highly qualified. Hostel accommodation is pretty sorted out with a good mess. I was very keen on building a career in the technology field, and this was the perfect place to head start.

College management is good. Although there were some problems regarding online quiz and server, the management resolved them in a short span of time.

College management has some issues sometimes but most of the times there isn't any issue and it is good.

Im kind of satisfied with the hostel and classroom distance. Its very apt and 2 days off in the weekend is obviously great. The college doesn't have a gym which feels kind of bad. No swimming pool as well.

Small and compact campus. Food and accommodation is quite average. Internet quality in some hostel buildings is very bad.

College lacks in proper infrastructure and student population. But the placements are good here. Its a gradully improving college. Since campus size is small (23 acres) so not much scope for developmental activities

The College authority doesn't respond to our query and usually leaves it unnoticed. Even the campus area is small but the profit of that is you can wakeup at 9:10 and attend 9:15 's class and not be late.

College has many positives and a few negatives. On a whole we can learn a lot by being part of IIIT Bhubaneswar may it be from faculties or from seniors or PhD students or may it be friends. The college environment is positive and the campus is small but beautiful.

The positive remark for the college is they provide good knowledge to students and also provide good facilities in the campus but the negative point they don't provide any emergency facilities for any accident in the college no any ambulance and hospital is also 4-5 km away.

Our college is very good except for its management. We have a very poor quality of food in our mess as the coupon amount is just 10/- for breakfast and 25/- for lunch and dinner so the quality is also not growing and the faculties are not also helping us to change it even after our request and also the concept of liberty and enjoyment is not taken seriously by our director. He thinks studying is all required in our college. They even don't arrange a convocation ceremony for passing out students.
