Remarks
College lacks in proper infrastructure and student population. But the placements are good here. Its a gradully improving college. Since campus size is small (23 acres) so not much scope for developmental activities
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure needs to be updated with the increasing demands of technology. Research is not given importance although students have to work on their minor and major projects in a focused manner for 3 months. Exams are moderate to difficult in nature. Exams and labs were scheduled in a balanced manner.
Placement Experience
Placements & job opportunities are good. Visits of high paying package companies are increasing year by year. College provides internship with DELL technologies as summer internship to selected students. Average package ranges from 4-5 LPA. High end packages include 12-13 LPA
College Events
Advaita - the annual festival of this college which invites students from all over the state and country to participate in various events in technical, cultural fields etc. The participation is not that big. Average number of students participating is 1000. Apart from this, college has 5-6 clubs like literary club, music club, coding club etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible. College gives scholarships to students whose financial condition is not good, when they produce the relevant certificate. Per semester fee is 70000/- including hostel accommodation which is 7k. This fee is not inclusive of food in the canteen which comes around 25/- per meal.
Fees and Financial Aid
I had not taken any loan. College offers scholarship to students who can produce relevant certificates to prove their financial poor condition. Loan facilty is provided with tie ups with some banks like ICICI.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are entertained but not promoted. labs are of premium quality. Sports facilities are lacking due to small sized campus of only 23 acres which includes hostel. Gender ratio is balanced. Technical & cultural workshops are held every semester
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is average. Rooms are 3 or 4 sharing. Hostel fees is 7k excluding food. Rooms are not large enough for 3 people to stay comfortably. Toilet are average. Cleaning is done every morning but basic infrastructure needs to be revamped.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is strong with seniors cooperating in referrals of juniors. Most of the alumni is accessible in Facebook and LinkedIn with no dedicated alumni platform. I had a pleasant experience interacting with seniors
Admission
I got admission by appearing in OJEE exam. I chose this course because it has good palcement options. No interview process. Direct admission to applied students through entrance exams score. Current admission is through JEE mains score.
Faculty
Quality of faculty is average. Lab assistants don't guide you that much. 4-5 faculty are very dedicated. Some of them dont come to class regularly. Classes are not that interesting from less interested faculties.
