- The placement is the best thing about this college .many good companies come and make good offer
- Many teachers are exceptionally good in their field.the faculity to student ratio is 1:77 approx, all faculty have done their mtech and phd from reputed university like iitkgp,nit rourkela,iit bombay etc.
- Hostel are very huge and best thing about the college is its hostel
Dislikes
- Recently placement is not very good in our campus especially for my department (etc).average package is only 9 lpa plus no good or reputated companies are coming here for recruitment.campus also doesnt help in obtaing any internships
- I think some faculties lack quality. for the amount of institution fee it feels like a risk.
- The no of reputed companies coming here for job offers and internships is declining with a very fast rate.

Placement Experience:
B.Tech students are eligible for placements from the 7th sem of final year. In 2021 batch the highest package was 12 lpa which was provided by companies like TurtleMint, CleverTap. In 2022, the highest lpa was maybe 25 lpa but I am not sure as I am 2021 passout.
Profiles offered: Analyst, web developer and so on.
90 percent and above students get placements by February. Placements start from November end(7th sem).
My plans after degree: pursuing higher studies.

Placement Experience:
Post 6th semester the Placement starts around the beginning of AUGUST. The average package is around 6.5 lacs. The highest fluctuate a lot and can range from 16-20 lacs to 30 lacs. Around an avg, 30 companies visit regularly. 90%+ placement in general.

From 1st year only you become eligible to have internships. Later you get lots of opportunities to join Google or GSoC. Placements start from 3rd only but the average salary is quite low like 8-9 lakhs per annum. Well, you have a lot of placements and well you don't have core companies here. I will opt for the GATE after this.

Among the available choices.IIIT Bhubaneswar was best when it comes to avg package and quality of study. Infrastructure is no so good but hostel is residential. Also the avg package and highest package increased every year and good companies visit the campus . In the current passing year(2020) highest on campus package was around 40 lpa in Microsoft which is awesome.

The main factor which drove me to the college was it's alumni reactions and their placements at various good platforms like Microsoft,tcs,Amazon etc.
The second factor was it's teachers efforts In making the students more skillful in practicals and different coding apart from syllabus which helps the students in further study

My cousin is a professor in this college and i was expecting CET bhubaneswar but i got this college and my cousin said this college is good in terms of academics and placement and told me to dedicate properly for better job opportunities.

The college is pretty decent, and you can learn things if you have the right motivation.This college has good nirf ranking and among top govt colleges in Odisha.This college has good placement records.

I was quite interested in learning computer related courses and best things about our course are it makes us learn a lot from online Inorder to get good marks in exams and get good coding. I wish if the course is quite relevant to student to develop some project it would be good. College events were on of the best in Odisha Campus crowd is also fine Connectivity with other campuses is also good Surrounding is also excellent.

I have chosen this course because I am interested in software development. The infrastructure, faculty, and course curriculum can be improved. College life, events and fests are amazing. Seniors here are helpful. The campus located at the outskirts of town, so you have a bit of connectivity issue. The college life is the liveliest.
