NSUT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The course in my opinion was not up-to-the mark and it was outdated . Their were very less of integration of new technologies and AI in the current syllabus . Mostly curriculum for electrical was the curriculum that has been made years and years ago

In terms of placemenets, our college ranks top 7th in India according to times group. But due to recesiion the season is severly affected dropping average to almost 40% of the original average packages rate.

From sem 7 placement started alot of companies like Microsoft-10, sprinklr- 20, visa-12, jaro education-10, Livofy-10, Samsung-30, etc visited with their respective offer letter count, highest packages go up to 32LPA, average was around 14LPA, for placement student should have CGPA criteria depends on individual company. I didn't opt for placement because I started preparing for government exams after my bachelor gets over.

You start to get an internship when you pass the 4th semester in campus. You can also look for an internship from outside the campus and the better your internship is the better the chances of your package to be increased. There are more than 200 companies that visit the campus in a year. The lowest package is offered by Tata consultancy services of around 3 lakhs and the highest package is offered in India by Google or Microsoft of more than 50 lacs and if you get more than around 1 crore you get a placement in the foreign companies. Many students like me are not sure of their plans however the college has a very good alumni network to think about the issue and address your future.

In your pre-final year you can sit for internship and the internships are paid only along with the PPO. The Companies like Microsoft, Google, Slesforce visit our college with the hiring rate of upto 95%. The placement rate of the college is 100% almost everyone get on campus placement.

College is still doing good in placements after Covid. An average package that comapany offers for a not IT (excluding consulting role in top companies) is somewhere around 8-9 lpa. Lots of students do prefer to get direct for masters/MBA or after gaining some industry exposure of 1-2 years.

Netaji Subhas University Of Technology, Delhi offers vocational training and practical placements throughout the year, providing opportunities to students of all streams. even during the unemployment period, the college managed to provide good internship opportunities to students. Leading companies of various businesses visited the campus and took students for the tenure. The training and placement cell also holds various meetings to prepare students for the placements and internships to put them out to the real world. Generally, most of the students gets placed in college and the percentage of placement is very high.

Placements are going abyssmal recently. due to sudden hike in number of students and the recession going on, there is utter discomfort among students regarding the placement season. most companies do visit the campus, but theyjust take 2 or 3 students and leave. the packages are pretty good, but only few people get to bag those. so at the end of season, there is a few population placed in good companies, and a big population left unemployed.

the college curriculum is of 4 years and there is 8 semester each semester coducting the exam 2 times. the subject in curriculum is also good which will give me practical and theoritical knowledge as well. the tools and technology i have worked on.

After sem 6 students are eligible for internship and after 7 sem for placement. Microsoft, amazon, google, and Apple all made a very good no of offers to the students in NSUT. The highest package is the international package around 1.2 cr and the average package is around 15 LPA. Around 90% of students are placed according to the criteria made by the placement cell of NSUT. My plan after my degree is just to get placed in a decent company.
