the culture was good you find all kind of people so you find your kind of too and seniors were amazing , helping and like friends
there was like 0 ragging like it does not exit there
the opportunities were amazing and the tech culture is one of the best better then DTU and IIITD

Dislikes

the faculty is like nightmare worst allover Delhi genuinely worst not from my experience but seniors, juniors and even post-graduation students.
the coordination by faculty was worst like you don't get the work done if its through collage
you don't get to know thought your college ever that who do you need to contact for what issue my personal experience was really bad

Admission:

the admission process was simple and was through JAC delhi counsling i had options like dtu, nsut, iitd and some iiit's through jossa but the tech culture and the location dwarka were the main reason for me to take nsut

Likes

Canteen have different varieties of food
Some teachers are very helpful they provide all kind of support.

Dislikes

In canteen the seating space is very less
The sports facilities are very limited you don't get outdoor sports equipment.
In recent time the water quality of nsut hostels are very bad

This university is not my first university but I choose this one because the second University I choose is Delhi technical University and which is very far from Uttam Nagar East this is the main reason why choose Netaji Subhash University of technology if you wants to apply in nsut you need to clear JEE examination.

All about NSUT

Likes

College has good gender ratio and a good crowd. Campus is very well maintained and has lots of greenery.

Dislikes

Poor maintenance of sports equipment and lack of amenities for eating no food outlets and only one canteen available

Admission:

I got into this college through the JEE mains exam I selected this college specifically to take admission in the computer science branch as it has great placements over all. Comparing this college to DTU or some mid level iits I would say that as far as placements are considered they all line on the same level and did you as a little bit chiller college life compared to nsuity but yes overall the placements are more or less the same level of these colleges

Faculty: The faculty is highly knowledgeable and supportive, providing clear explanations and guidance both in and out of the classroom. They have a passion for their subjects, making learning engaging and effective.
Gender Ratio: The college has a gender ratio of roughly 10% girls to 90% guys. While imbalanced, this ratio creates a focused and goal-oriented academic environment, which I found conducive to my studies.
Placements: The college's placement services are excellent, with a high percentage of students getting placed in reputable companies. The average salary packages are competitive, reflecting the quality of education and career support.

Dislikes

Facilities: The college's facilities are outdated and poorly maintained. Labs lack modern equipment, and common areas like the library and sports grounds are in need of significant upgrades.
College Area: The campus is quite small and the surrounding area offers very few amenities for students. Its remote location makes commuting difficult and limits access to services and entertainment options.
Canteen: The canteen food is disappointing in terms of both quality and variety. The hygiene standards are poor, and the menu is repetitive, making it an unappealing option for daily meals.

Admission:

I didn't apply to any other college as I wanted to enter NSUT. Admission process of my college is through JEE mains exam. 95+ percentile for good branches but it depends on categories as well. The admission gets done by JAC counsil whoch consists of 4-5 colleges.

Nsut ki baatein

Likes

Our college have society of almost every niche whether it's tech, consulting, dance, singing or self improvement etc.
Senior are very supportive and they guide their juniors very well.
College infrastructure is pretty good like we have fully furnished classes with air conditioner etc.

Dislikes

Our college only have one common badminton court for every one and its outdoor.
College scholarships official are not cooperative and they don't guide well.
College canteen is always flooded with students.

Admission:

To get admission in my college in btech course we have to give jee exam and on basis of that I got this college. I dont think my college is not better than other college but the thing is I didn't get admission into technical course that's only because of my scores.

Our college has an excellent placement records with top companies visit to recruit students. Also studnets have completed internships at many leading companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Qualcomm etc.
If you are keen on sports than you will find yourself lucky if you are NSUTian as it provides amzing sports complex which includes criclet ground, lawn tennis court, running track, football ground, basketball court, volleyball court, TT tables.
Seniors are very helfpul as they provide you resources for Exams, share insights on which professors are approachable and which ones are less so, helping you navigate your academic journey with ease.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is something that is not upto the mark as there were 4 canteens and one Amul cafeteria available in the campus but now after the orders from MCD all canteens and Amul cafetria are sealed. Also the speed of wifi is very poor.
Attendance criteria is too strict, you have to maintain your attenfdance atleast 75% otherwise you will be debarred from sitting in the exam.
You have to study throughout the semester as various class tests are conducted and you have to perform in them too as they carry weightage in your overall grades.

Admission:

I got EE (Electrical Engineering) in DTU but I preferred NSUT ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) just because of my branch priority. Admission process of NSUT is quite simple, you have to give JEE Mains and then participate in JAC counselling. There are different cut-offs for different categories and there is 85% quota for Delhi students as well. You have to clear the cutoff and then verify documents and you are ready to be admitted in NSUT.

College size its huge and area is best there is vegas mall near by

Attendence rule its kind strict and you have to mantain 75 percent

Admission:

I choose NSUT over DTU because of distance my home is kind a close to NSUT and in my opinion it is my best choice in my class mostly student came from Delhi UP border like Noida Shahdara and its kind of to travel 2 hours a day

A college with a good social life but needs a slight improvement.

There is too much crowd in the festa and events

I choose this college over all other college that I opted because this colleges nearest to my house and it is one of the best technology college in Delhi. I have applied to DTU and nsut but I opted nsut because it has good infrastructure and its near to my home. I didn't get rejection frkm the other colleges i applied to. The score of JEE mains exam is required for admission in csai course of nsut and students with particular percentiles are allowed in college but the issue is due to competition, the cutoff is tooo high for admission

Likes

They university is very clean beautiful roads.
Different varieties of flora in faculty.
Fully aircondition classrooms with high speed wifi.

Dislikes

Number of classes in a week is high like more than 20 classes
Labs are are not that much advance that much they tell.
Lack of sports equipment and ground area is not well maintained.

Admission:

The other college that I was applied for is delhi technical university and I am aligible for all of the courses in that college but I was willing to join that college but then I know about the travel I need to make every day for that so that's why I choose this college nsut and why electrical because this is the future of core branches.

IIITD, DTU and NSIT (NSUT) reserve 85% seats for the students who passed their 12th or equivalent from Delhi. All the NITs also offer reservation to students from their own states. Here are the 2023 JEE Mains closing ranks for CSE/COE at various colleges (for SC category)-

Admissions through defense quota depend on your priority category:

Till 5th priority category - Confirmed admission with any AIR.
6th priority category - Admission depends on other applicants’ rank.
7th priority category - No chance in the general defense category.

First of all, congratulations for aiming to pursue your B.Tech from NSUT Delhi. It is a top Engineering institution. However, it is a bit difficult to get into NSUT Delhi. It has an 85% reservation for Delhi NCT candidates. So if you haven’t completed your +2 from Delhi, getting in may get tougher.

You can check the JEE Mains 2023 cutoffs for admission into NSUT Delhi.

The cutoffs differ for OS and HS candidates, and also for candidates from different categories. Some seats are also reserved for female candidates.

The cutoffs vary according to the branch. I would recommend you check this year’s cutoffs and prepare hard accordingly.

According to the previous year cutoff ranks of 2023. The minimum required rank for obtaining a seat in M.Tech. Bioinformatics is 361. This cutoff rank is for General Category. In such a case, when no GATE candidate available for admission, then NSUT provides admission to the M.Tech. Bio Informatics on the basis of its merit list.
