I liked the infrastructure of the college.Specifically classrooms are very good ,fully air conditioned.
Gender ration of NSUT is good compared to other engineering colleges.As it has some reservation for girls
Campus Life is very good and also it has nice crowd. It has various societies with good social interaction.Placements are also very good.

Dislikes

Don't liked the teachers expertise and the teaching style of some faculty.
Sports facilities are not upto the mark need to be improved.Like it has only badminton court which is also outdoor. No indoor badminton facility
Provision of scholarship.Nsut don't provide scholarship on time.

I applied for Dtu also and I was getting electrical engineering there and also in NSUT.But considering the distance I choose Nsut over Dtu as I live in Uttam nagar. Admission process- In Nsut admission is done based on jee mains rank and percentile. For general category : To get cse you need above 98 percentile,for lower branches 96+ percentile.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

Likes

The best thing in college is it's infrastructure. It has a top notch classrooms equipment with very good seating
There are also a lot of clubs which you can take part in. Mostly the cultural clubs are active, the tech clubs are mostly dead.
Placement team is also good. They try a lot to bring a lot of companies and make sure everyone gets placed.

Dislikes

The teaching staff and professors are not up to the mark. In the whole 4 years of Btech
There is also no start-up culture. Everyone just wants to do DSA and get placed in a company. Teachers also don't encourage for start-ups
The non-teaching staff is very rude and arrogant. They create a lot of problems if a student needs something from academics department

The main reason for joining this college was proximity from my home. Another option was DTU but it had a 2 hour journey from my home whearas NSUT had 1 hour journey. Both colleges are almost same and placements are also almost same. If someone is choosing between these colleges then distance should be a major factor. If someone is from outside Delhi then for coding culture you should join NSUT while for fun and fests, you should join DTU.

Air conditioners are there in each room which helps to feel good during summers
closeness with the bus station is not that far
availability of sports equipements is there

Dislikes

Small Campus and no active society work . except aeronauts
poor toilets soap is filled with a lot of water in it
Poor canteen food which can't be eaten regularly and prices are also high

The Hidden Truth of NSUT

The college is a green lush campus in Dwarka, you may find peacocks anytime in the campus which makes it look beautiful.
The seniors are really helpful in everything , all the resources are available. Also it has a great coding culture, even teachers might ask you like if you need any help related to AI ML, some may even provide you with the contents they followed.
The classrooms are well air conditioned( especially for the first year), there is a separate complex for them. Also for the higher years, all the departments have been now upgraded with good air conditioning, smart boards.

Dislikes

The attendance criteria is but of a headache. Some teachers are really chill about it but some are like if you even enter the class 5 minutes late, you are marked absent. Well it totally depends upon the mood but yes 75% is a bit of a headache
The hostels for boys are not air conditioned , might look difficult for some people so take this into your consideration. Plus point is that boys hostel have separate rooms also for individual while girls hostel are triple or quadruple sharing withAC

Admission:

The reason why I chose this college is a bit of personal reason. My two years of hard work didn't pay off well and I didn't want to go to a pvt college, I had made up my mind for that. I was also getting the same branch ICE in BITS too , but due to the reason that it is far away from my home was a bit challenging for me. Also I was getting ECE in Thapar but it was rejected it as the fee is really high. For NSUT, you need to give the JEE mains exam, and after that fill up the JAC counselling. For BITS we have BITSAT exam in which there are two attempts and the best of two counts. Similarly it has its own counselling. For Thapar , you can get admission on the basis of BOARDS score and JEE Mains score as well. The admission process is not that difficult , everything is online , from the fee payment to choice filling. But once the seat is alloted in a particular branch, you need to appear physically the the desired college, in which all the documents will be examined. If you fail to do so or if there is any disperency in the documents , seat will be cancelled immediately. So fill all the required details carefully.

Likes

College campus is big enough with all the facilities including library, gym, sports ground and canteen and many more
College life is very full of enthusiasm, students from all the states comes here
Flexibility is top notch. Course selection is amazing

Dislikes

Full of day scholars due to 85% state quota
Some professor only focus on cramming instead of concepts
Most of the campus area is a forest being waste for anyone

Admission:

This college is one the best college in Delhi. Course provided along with flexibility is on another level. The placement statistics here are also amazing. Highest package 60-80 lpa for cse with average of 16-17 lpa.

Likes

The college campus is lush green and provides an overall ambience full of glee and tranquility.
Secondly, safety is ensured in and around campus.
Seniors and very inclusive and great networking opportunities.

Dislikes

Only a few eateries, just one fully fledged canteen.
Don't provide hostels for Delhi students.
Academics are screwed as you have to study on your own.

Admission:

The major bet was DTU and I always kept NSUT above DTU, because of its emphasis on academics and also the safety parameters. Plus, the natural campus feels serene in bad days, DTU is more concrete, which is a personal preference. Admission is through jee mains, cutoff varies year to year.

Just NSUT'S things

Likes

The campus is very beautiful and well maintained which is one of the reason to like it.
The discipline is also good in comparison to other colleges.
Fests and extra curricular activities are also good in the college

Dislikes

The attendance criteria is very strict, i.e. 75% min attendance
Sometimes the strictness of the admin for different fests or activities
The fees i think is very high and sports facilities are not that good.

Admission:

I got NIT Manipur mechanical and also other NITs but the branch was not that good, also getting DTU EP and ME but than I thought that NSUT's electrical would be better and it is. Admission into this college is only through JEE mains, if you are domicile of Delhi then you got some reservations in NSUT and DTU and it makes a little bit easy for you to get admission here, but if you are not from Delhi then the cutoffs are very high.

I like various clubs which help in the growth of the students. People do interact with each other in these clubs .
There is library for the students to study in their free time.
There is a student centre here students can go in their free time and relax as well as eat some food.

Dislikes

The exam pattern is quite tough with all the assignments you get.
There is no relaxation in attendance . you have to complete 75% . Sometime it get decrease to 65%.

Admission:

Basically Netaji Subhas University of Technology is better tha Delhi Technological University in various aspects such as infratructure, library , student centre etc. of course the branch Mechanical Engineering is much better tha civil engineering .

Structure is very good, Campus life is good going, location is fab
Liked the playground area for students, even gym is good in our college
Fest in our college has always been best in terms of enjoyment

Dislikes

Teacher and faculties are not supportive . They do not teach regularly
Water system and food canteen are need to be improved because they are not also on good level
Classes need to be repaired and teacher should teach wisely

Admission:

I got csai in ipu but I didn't took it because there was too much crowded with students which can be a lack of opportunities for me. I took this clg to improve my campus life after the best college in delhi. I can pursue my degree here with complete opportunities.

Best thing is the nescafe or the hang out spots

First of all, congratulations for aiming to pursue your B.Tech from NSUT Delhi. It is a top Engineering institution. However, it is a bit difficult to get into NSUT Delhi. It has an 85% reservation for Delhi NCT candidates. So if you haven’t completed your +2 from Delhi, getting in may get tougher.

According to the previous year cutoff ranks of 2023. The minimum required rank for obtaining a seat in M.Tech. Bioinformatics is 361. This cutoff rank is for General Category. In such a case, when no GATE candidate available for admission, then NSUT provides admission to the M.Tech. Bio Informatics on the basis of its merit list.
