Which is better, EE at DTU or ICE at NSIT?

There is no better branch between EE at DTU and ICE at NSIT. It's all about preferences and inclinations. ICE at NSIT This branch has Control Engineering concepts along with electrical, electronics, and computer engineering.ICE has very light coursework and it's easy to maintain a good CGPA. You also get enough time for your passions and extracurriculars. IT giants like Facebook, Google, etc. Don't allow ICE students to sit for placements. Core companies that recruit students of this branch include Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, and others. Non-tech companies like BCG, Bain, and JPMC allow all students to sit for placements. NSIT has a larger batch size and thus the competition here is less than DTU for placements but it still it cannot match the brand value of DTU. The Hidden Truth of NSUT

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees is paid in advance for the whole year , which was around 2.4L and increases by 10k every year. The fees is same for all categories. After sometime in the basis of CGPA, some amount is refunded to the EWS,OBC,SC,ST Scholarships are also provided , but the amount gest credited after a long time. I have heard that our 3rd yr seniors have not received their money yet( this is in case of merit based scholarships)

All about NSUT

Since it's been an year I've enrolled into the university, I can tell about the fee structure on the basis of my experience until now. Initially after orientation and induction, we pay the fee year wise. The first year fee was around 2.7 lakhs, and it increases by a small factor each successive year. A total of 11.5-12lakhs would be spent on the degree.

Experience that matter

The yearly fee for my B.Tech program at NSUT increases slightly each year. In the first year, I paid around ?2.4 lakhs, which went up to ?2.5 lakhs in the second year, ?2.7 lakhs in the third year, and ?2.9 lakhs in the fourth year. The total cost of the entire course comes to about ?10.5 lakhs, with an annual fee hike of approximately 4-5%. Luckily, NSUT offers some helpful scholarship options. There are merit-based scholarships for the top 5% of students in each program every year, covering the tuition fee if we pass all subjects on the first attempt. Plus, there’s financial aid for students from SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories, along with the Chhatra Vittiya Sahayta Evam Protsahan Kosh (CVSPK) scheme, which provides extra support through a simple application process.

Year wise fees is 2.5 lakh and it increases every year by 10 thousand, and for general category no scholarship , for ews and sc/st there is scholarship. But you have to apply for it on national scholarship scheme.

Dilemma choosing NSUT? Here the analysis

The college is very very strict about 75% attendance criteria

Fees for any program for a general category student at NSUT in B.Tech for the first year is 2.5lakh which gets increased by 5-10% every subsequent years. 2.5lc. constitutes of tution fee of 77k, admission fees of 35k, development fee of 10k, caution fees is around 25k and the rest component constitutes under infrastructure fees(including sports, society, lab, etc.) Fees for OBC and EWS category is approximately around 7-8lakhs, and for SC and ST category it's about 4-5 lakhs majorly the tuition fees rest is waived but this is usually after availing the scholarships. Plenty of Scholarship are available for category students. The prominent ones are:- MCM:- for students with family income less then 3.5lc. and SC,ST,OBC category. CVSPK:- it has various sections of availing scholarships like people with family income less than 2.5lc. gets 80%tution fee waiver, less than 4lc gets 40%tution fee waiver and soo on. There's also a scheme for merit based students that if you are among top 3-5 students in you batch then your 100% tution fee will be waived which is little difficult but possible. There plenty of Scholarships available it's just you have to be aware and apply on time.

An adventures life

Every year the fees increases but it is already told when one is joining the university. Overall it would take maximum of 10 lakhs for four years for the college. This includes all the charges. There are certain scholarships available in college for the the categories of SC, ST, EWS and PWD. People from financially unstable families can also apply for scholarship. Generally, after the 2nd year completes, one can do internships if they are skilled enough. It is not very tough to get an internship. Just constant hardwork and good academics can lead you to a paid internship after the 2nd year itself.

NSUT : the must visit campus

NSUT have a strict 75% attendance criteria and even u have 74% attendance you are not eligible for giving exams

Tuition fees are too much in NSUT as in my time 2022 our admission fees are 219000/- per year and there is a 10000/- hike every year for the next batch the complete cost, of course, would be around 950000/- for 4 years. Some scholarships are provided for the economically weaker section and I dont know the exact amount of fees concession but it is given to students who apply for scholarships. placement scenario is also quite decent in NSUT as 90% of students are placed in companies that are eligible for jobs according to college criteria.

NSUT -The place of engineers

If we talk on exam point of view which is very strict faculties of NSUT does not easily give marks to students.

Tuition fee vary per year , 1st year Btech fees is 2,29,000 . 2nd year Btech fees is 2,40,000 . 3rd year Btech fees is 2,50,000 . 4th year B.tech fees is 2,70,000 . There are many scholarships available for the students in which a student's family income is less than 8 lakh then they can get a scholarships and the complete couse fees is around 10 lakh .

NSUT Delhi College Review

The fees for Btech are approx 2.5 lakh per year and increase by 10k every year. if you are a general student you only have an option of merit-based scholarship but if you belong to any other category then you have a lot of options for scholarships. OBC people get 80% of their fee. You also get the option of a Loan from SBI as there is one branch of SBI in college only and easily provides loans for financial assistance

It's course curriculam is very strict and it also has a 75 percent attendance rule.

The strictness in the core curriculam and the attendance rule forces the students to work hard with their core curriculam but reduces the time for extra curricular skills.

The fee structure varies with time and is a little on the higher side as we talk about a government engineering college , for my time the tution fee was around 2,29,000 /annum which does not include the hostel fees at all.
