I opted Manufacturing process and automation as engineering branch, which was quited similar to mechanical branch. But, one MPAE is a bit inclined towards applications and gives an understandinf of core manufactring processes and there realtime methodology in industry.

I got selected for a production intern role at ARB Bearings Ltd, which was a summer inter of 3 months tenure. Stipend was 20K per month. I worked on few projects during this, one of them was based on Roling stock, Autonomous vehicle using deep learning algorithms.

College is still doing good in placements after Covid. An average package that comapany offers for a not IT (excluding consulting role in top companies) is somewhere around 8-9 lpa. Lots of students do prefer to get direct for masters/MBA or after gaining some industry exposure of 1-2 years.

I took admission in 2016, that time there was 125000 fees for first year excluding mess and hostel. Each year this got increase by an average of 16%. but current scenario is different, now fees structure has updated.

Campus life was really good, one can experience being with multiple clubs at a time. There was various clubs and communities to join that belong to business consulting, coding competions, hackathons, debating societyies, music, dance, acting, photography, NGOs.

You need to score above 75% in XII to appear i JEE Mains and advance, which is the only exam to get in and opt an engineering course at NSUT (Formerely NSIT). Cuttoff for Mechanical course at nsit is quite lesser than IT branches.

Nsit holds a quite good status in terms of faculty, their academic and reserch study, but no of mentors are very few. There we had a leveradge to interact with faculties, be that for course related communication or interpersonal upskilling. Any body with a good understanding of subject can collaborate with there respective faculty and work on projects.
