What Students Say

Likes

College Cultural Fests were great and lively
Technological Environment was good . Ample of students did coding
Seminars and Sports Facility were moderatly good

Dislikes

The number of seats increased and college is becoming overcrowded now
No focus on non-cse branches like Electrical , Mechanical and all
attendance (75 percent) mandatory , which even leads to insufficiency and unproductivity

Course Curriculum Overview

The course in my opinion was not up-to-the mark and it was outdated . Their were very less of integration of new technologies and AI in the current syllabus . Mostly curriculum for electrical was the curriculum that has been made years and years ago

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 900000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The detailed fee structure of the college was 2 lakhs per annum . The fees increases around 10-15% per annum . Hostel fees for single room hostel boys for 6 months was around 60k(per semester). The total fees for 4 years was around 9 lakhs

Campus Life

The campus life was fun and stressful on the other hand . The campus was lush green with dogs , peacocks and cats all around the campus , which acts as a stressbuster to the stressful curriculum and attendance policies. The campus was 150-acres

Admission

I chos NSUT because of the Technological environment of the college and also the alumni network , support and the Placements it provides it to the students. I had a very strong interest in Computer Science but couldnt make it into CSE from NSUT due to high cutoff in JEE mains , so that was joined EE in the college

Faculty

Some of the handful faculty was helping and supporting . Rest of the faculty were not at all supportive and the faculty were very very strict for 75 percent attendance . Exams were 1 end sem , 1 mid sem and 2 class test for each semester each subject

Placement Experience:

From second year onwards... student are given access to Traning and placement department... Most 2nd, 3rd years are eligible for intership offers and 3rd years are eligible for job offers. Ebullient (85LPA) is the highest offer provided, Avg package is around 17LPA. but but only 37% student has been placed this FY till now (placements are still going on)

In Delhi technological University , the campus placements are very high and students placed on campus. Delhi technological University Are very good at campus placements. Over 350 to 400 companies reach delhi technological university for on campus hiring of students.

Placement Experience:

3rd and 4th year students are eligible for placements, less students from 3rd year Amazon, google, atlassian visited this college, less offers for high packages Highest packages are 1.3cpa, 95lpa and also there are some packages over 50lpa Lowest are 3lpa, in mass recruitment people get 3-4lpa In 2022, placement numbers are good, but in 2023 2024 less placement offers as compared to total students My plans are try to find off campus placement, but also sit in on campus placement

Placement is so good for our branch it's 18 lpa and go much higher but you have to work hard for it and gain knowledge and some big companies also much for placement it's better to challenge your self

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is really nice approx 70-80% students got placed with very nice pavkage. The packages are also really nice. Some MNC's offer very high pavkage also. The average package here is 7 lakh per annum.

Overview of DTU

Placement Experience:

Students are available to get placed starting sem 7, the placements of my college are great, it's fairly easy to get placed, most students get placed by the end of sem 8, Companies like Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Amazon come to our college, the highest placed student this year was 80 lakhs, all the companies mentioned above took atleast 4-10, students. Around 80% students are placed for sure, My plans after getting the degree is to become a content creator whole doing my job, trying to balance everything, also i have plans to start my own business

All about NSUT

I got into this college through the JEE mains exam I selected this college specifically to take admission in the computer science branch as it has great placements over all. Comparing this college to DTU or some mid level iits I would say that as far as placements are considered they all line on the same level and did you as a little bit chiller college life compared to nsuity but yes overall the placements are more or less the same level of these colleges...Read More

I didn't apply to any other college as I wanted to enter NSUT. Admission process of my college is through JEE mains exam. 95+ percentile for good branches but it depends on categories as well. The admission gets done by JAC counsil whoch consists of 4-5 colleges....Read More
