Course Curriculum Overview
The Course curriculum may not be the most advanced out there but it is definitely better than similar colleges. However, the low GPA makes it hard for students to go for further studies. Everything else regarding the course looks great. About Exams, this is something which may not be liked here, there are exams every now and then. There are 4 sets of official examinations and tons of unofficial ones.
Internships Opportunities
There are some really big companies coming to the campus but they are generally open till the ECE branch, lower branch people get almost 20% of the overall companies visiting campus hence it makes it difficult to get interns. For CS and IT peeps, Microsoft, Google, BlackRock, sprinkler, uber, adobe, and almost every big company visits the campus where stipends range from 15k to 2.15 lakh per month as interns.
Placement Experience
In terms of placemenets, our college ranks top 7th in India according to times group. But due to recesiion the season is severly affected dropping average to almost 40% of the original average packages rate.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees have increased exponentially in the last years which is making it hard for students to avail of college. Also, the scholarships are only available for reserved categories. For general people, there is no such scheme. I paid almost 2.5 lakh per year which makes it very hard for various people.
Campus Life
Campus life is amazing given you are with the right people (which this college obviously provides). You have the SC for chilling, a big fat playground, and a lush green campus in the heart of Delhi. We also have tons of Societies out there in which you can enroll and get yourself open to life. The library is also huge having almost every kind of book.
Admission
The admission process is through JEE Mains exams. The cutoffs for nsut are very high and it makes it difficult for almost 95% of students to get into this prestigious college. Reservation benefits are there because its a government institution.
Faculty
The faculties are really qualified but the batch size is huge so that makes it difficult for faculties to focus on every student. The faculties are really helpful tho and help even in non-academic matters. Some faculties teach in a way that makes it interesting to learn but yes not everyone is like them.
