Which is better for CSE: NIT Hamirpur or NSIT/DTU?

NSIT/DTU is far better than NIT Hamirpur for CSE. Be it academics, placement, research culture, peer group, exposure, etc. NSIT/DTU will offer better opportunities. These two institutes also have a locational advantage. Due to the favorable location, you can easily get good exposure in the CSE domain. NSIT and DTU both will offer you plenty of opportunities. However, many students prefer NSIT for their small student intake.

Total fees without hostel accomodation is 250000 per year and if you consider hostel accommodation then it is around 3.5 lakhs per year also the fees increases by 10% each year as far as scholarship is considered scholarships are available for students on the basis of merit that is on the basis of JEE mains admission rank and top 10% students in the class based on CGPA criteria

The year wise fees which I paid is as follows: 1st year : 219000 2nd year: 228000 3rd year: 234000 4th year: 240000 Therefore, the total fees for completing the BTech was 921000. This fees include tuition fees and institute fee. The fees is same for all category students such as General, OBC, SC and ST. Females also pay the same fees. There are various scholarships which you can opt during the college time. CVSPK is a scholarship run by the NSUT. It gives scholarship on 3 conditions 1. Top 5% in department in a year. 2. Death of earning parent while studying 3. Financially weaker students. Apart from this there are scholarships run by government such as MCM, PMS-SC, PMS-OBC PM-Yashasvi.

Netaji Subhash University of Technology(NSUT) is a prestigious engineering college located in Delhi. For academic year 2025 - 2026 the annual tution fees in approximately 2.5 lakhs. To support students financally, NSUT provides several scholarship schemes based on merit and financial schemes. For B. Tech programs the annual fees is around 2.5 lakhs per year. You may note that the fees may slightly increase every year resulting in 4 Year Bachelor of Technology in any Branch costing to 10.5 lakhs for four years.

Short review of NSUT

NSUT college have introduced Yoga for students in course which is very good step for making students healthy . In morning yoga helps us to stay active and energies whole day for study.

Heavy academic pressure on students in NSUT we have to give midsem , CTs ,endsem and viva sometimes practical test and sometimes ppt ,in doing all this student might feel that they don't get extra time for learning new skills other than academics
NSUT have strict attendance policy as it is fixed that we can't appear in exam if our attendance is less than 75% specially in endsem exams which is really very important for everyone.

The Btech fee at NSUT experienced significant price growth throughout the years.students enrolled in academic year 2024-25 will have to pay Rs 2.4 lakhs for the tuition fees, examination expenses and institutional fees cost.tuition fees increase yearly throughout the program for second year students have to give Rs 2.5 lakhs ,for third year students have to give Rs2.7 lakhs and Rs 2.9 lakhs for last year of the program.The complete four year tuition expenses amount to approximately Rs10.5 lakhs. The high educational costs at NSUT are justified by strong academic programs combined with advanced facilities and promissing students placement success.

NSUT:Vibrant Campus Life and a tech hub

College is good but my campus and infrastructure is not so good. I'm in West campus so some of the faculties are not so good.The fee for my course is 250000 for 1 year. The highest salary packages have reached up to ?1.25 crore per annum, with an average package around ?15 lakh per annum. Some students feel that certain professors could enhance their teaching methods. Allover it is a good college.

My fees for the 4year program is 10500000 and been from the general category I was unable to get any scholarship as such.But there is some type of scholarship like E district and Nsp for sc, st ,obc students

For my batch the fees for first year is 2.4 lakh and for 2nd year 2.5 lakh and for 3rd year 2.7 lakh and for 4th year it is 2.9 lakh and for the combined duration of the course the fee is 10.5 lakh rupees the fees is same for all the categories there are some scholarships some are provided by central government like through NSP(national scholarship portal) and some scholarships are provided by state government like MCM and Our College also provide scholarship but it is given one year later like for 1st year scholarship will be provided in 2nd year and it is given on the basis of income and academic in the college like for the students which have family income less than 2 lpa has 100% tution fee reimbursement and for information you can go on incentives.nsut.in website these are the information for the scholarship
