- I feel so proud to be here and the faculty are just superb and awesome.
- Thd placement in my college is pretty good in my branch the average package is ruppees 2500000 per annum many of big companies like microsoft, atlasian, amazon, google, wipro etc visits here for giving good placements
- Even if bit mesra is a gift but still the fee structure is slightly more than other gifts on the other hand category scholarship, state scholarships and merit cum scholarships are also there for good and bright students.
Dislikes
- Hostel facility is very bad they are very rude they don't listen to anyone else.
- The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside
- Some faculty members are very educated and experienced but some of them have absolutely no knowledge they have just got the degree are just there to disturb students.

- It is known for its strong legacy in technical education. It consistently ranks among top engineering colleges in India.
- The average placement for CSE is around 17L pa with highest package of 54L
Dislikes
- It is far from the main city Ranchi so little difficult for shopping or entertainment areas.
- It has a rigorous academic environment with a heavy focus on exams and assignment.
Placement Experience:
From 2nd years you can apply for different internship as well as in campus internships.
Beside during 3rd year many companies come to recruit students.
In CSE the average is around 17.5L
And highest goes up to 58L pa.
Top recruiter are tata, Microsoft, amazon etc.

- Atmosphere and nature of campus is goood

- Syllabus feels old and outdated for cse and ece branches
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course ciriculum is outdated and old. Needs to be updated. Exams are of average difficulty. Curriculum does not prepare us for real world industry. I personally chose aiml because of interest . It is a recently introduced branch. 2k24 are the 3rd batch of aiml students.

- Sports facilities provided by college and opportunity.good for sportspersons
- College infrastructure mainly in circuital branch
- Events .and teachers support during semester exam . practising qstns
Dislikes
- Old syllabus like workshop classess.some mess foods
- Language problem like most teacher are bengali
- Hostel rooms are quite small and two beds in same room
Course Curriculum Overview:
Out of 10, I will rate 7 because 1st year courses apart from maths and physics are of no use in engineering when doing workshops like the August course starts. In September quiz and mid sem in oct started. latest syllabus needed to be built

- The college has a strong alumni network which helps the students.
- The college has a vast campus with all necessary facilities.

- The college is situated very far away from main city.
Placement Experience:
The placements of my college are pretty good. Students generally become eligible after 3rd year completion for placements.
Some of the companies visiting our college are Microsoft, Google , Tata Steels , TCS , Samsung, etc .
The highest package was 51 lpa on campus and average package is around 8 lpa.
Almost 75% of the eligible students get placed .
I am thinking of pursuing MBA after my degree.

- Campus : The greenery and large area of campus is very impressive
- Alumni network of this college is very strong and helpful
- Senior Junior interactions are very helpful and friendly here
Dislikes
- Quality of mess food is really worst here
- Hectic course structure is not good for students
- Administration is very stict and apply too many restriction
Course Curriculum Overview:
My course curriculum is not very relevent as the company requirements are either not taught or taught late. But still it is little advanced and relevent than other. Size of course might be too long and hectic.

- The laboratory in my college is very well developed.
- The sports complex in BIT is good with every equipment.
- The gym of our collage is very nice and composing of many equipment.
Dislikes
- The girls is to boys ratio(g:b) is nearly (1:9)
- Always the climate in BIT is unpredictable.
- The admission office staff is make the things stretch 10 days for 1 day work.
Placement Experience:
78% is the placement ratio last year as per my knowledge and it is given based on in campus placement ratio.highest salary is more than 30 lacks per annum and average is nearly 3.4 to 4 lacks per annum. we can start entering into the placement after 5 semister.

- Mess Food is excellent they have a variety of options and Campus is green and beautiful
- Big campus so Almost every one walks like 8km+ a day if you have 4 classes or so
- Hostel room is nice and is cleaned every week and toilet and bathroom is cleaned thrice a day which means you always get a fresh experience 😜
Dislikes
- fees is way too much for a btech course not saying other colleges are cheap but if you get gov funding then why the fee is so high
- faculty is not that cooperative and some students create unnecessary ruckus in the class
- sometimes snakes and scorpions are way too common in the campus
Placement Experience:
So Placement % of Chemical Engineering is 60% and average package is like 11lpa in non core (it, consultancy, trading like jobs) and 9lpa in core(Reliance Tata, Pharma Companies)
From Semester 7 non core companies start hiring and core ones generally cone at the end sem or begining of 8th sem
Heighest Package offered was 18 lakhs
Avg is 9 lpa
I am looking at Gate and get into top PSUs or maybe MBA after btech

- If you’re interested in sports this college provides you almost all types of outdoor sports facilities
- As said the campus is comparatively small so interactions with students and seniors are more often as compared to other colleges
- The infrastructure is fine as the semi government or government colleges have
Dislikes
- Some of the classrooms needs proper aur conditioning
- The canteen food is not up to the mark and it is not that value for money
- There should be a night canteen also although The mess food is great hut need for night canteen is must
Course Curriculum Overview:
The main exams happen two time only that are mids and end semester examinations.
There is sufficient time to prepare for these exams as the consecutive quizes also make you ready for the exams as the quiz syllabus consists of some parts of mid and end semester examinations.

- Classrooms and labs are good.also this college has good alumini networks.
- Dispensary facilities with ambulance on a call
- VC is very much approachable and you can discuss anything.
Dislikes
- Rooms are smaller with 2 person per room.
- Mess foods are not good for all hostels.
- Teachers are experienced but they didn't teach much
Placement Experience:
90 percentage of students from CSE gets placed except for 2024 batch the percentage was 70 with avg of 12lpa while it was 22 lpa before with 16lpa median . Approx 20 companies visited for intership for 3rd year students
