The curriculum is based on the industrial needs for modern world. So it becomes quite intresting to know about how the things around us are working. The college should focus more on the practical approach rather than on theory. The exams generally occur every month and level is easy to moderate.

The companies providing internship are TCS , Wipro , SAP , Intutent Inc ,etc. Some roles offered are fresher engineer , web development intern , CAD drafting, etc. There are also several startups emerging from our college.

The placements of my college are pretty good. Students generally become eligible after 3rd year completion for placements. Some of the companies visiting our college are Microsoft, Google , Tata Steels , TCS , Samsung, etc . The highest package was 51 lpa on campus and average package is around 8 lpa. Almost 75% of the eligible students get placed . I am thinking of pursuing MBA after my degree.

The fees for my course is 180000 per semester including tuition fees , exam fees development fees , etc. The tuition fees increases by 10% every year . There are many types of scholarships like merit based, merit cum need based , financial assistance for staff wards, etc. The total amount for scholarship is almost 5 crores.

The campus life here is very good . The college has different types of courses including btech , barch , hmct , pharmacy , etc. So you get to interact with variety of students. It has great sports facilities with national level standard badminton courts , football and cricket grounds , etc. There are about 40 different clubs related to different branches including cultural clubs . But certainly they are not very active .

The hostel facility is decent. In the first and second year you may get double sharing rooms and then single room after. The room is basic with a bed and study table for each student. Mess food quality is quite unsatisfactory but can be improved upon complaints .

I applied for this college through josaa and csab counseling. My first preference was PEC Chandigarh but due to high cutoff , I couldn't make it to PEC. The exams accepted by my college is JEE mains. Anyone who has completed 10+2 from any recognised board or any equivalent course and qualified jee mains is eligible for counseling. The overall admission process is very easy

The faculty to students ratio is 1:40 The college has experience faculty members who are doing research in various fields . My professors like Dr. Anupam Roy, Dr. Pulak Dutta are among some of the great professors. There are a total of four exams every semester which includes 2 quizzes of 10 marks each and a mid sem exam of 25 marks and the final end sem exam for 50 marks. They are generally easy if u have paid attention to the lectures.
