I feel so proud to be here and the faculty are just superb and awesome.
Thd placement in my college is pretty good in my branch the average package is ruppees 2500000 per annum many of big companies like microsoft, atlasian, amazon, google, wipro etc visits here for giving good placements
Even if bit mesra is a gift but still the fee structure is slightly more than other gifts on the other hand category scholarship, state scholarships and merit cum scholarships are also there for good and bright students.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is very bad they are very rude they don't listen to anyone else.
The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside
Some faculty members are very educated and experienced but some of them have absolutely no knowledge they have just got the degree are just there to disturb students.

An overview of bit mesra

Likes

There are some new rooms build in two hostels they are good
Infrastructure of college is well maintained and campus is huge
Sports facilities are also well maintained in college

Dislikes

There is strict attendance policy means you have to maintain 75% attendance
Mess food is also not good and some hostels are also not maintained
Course curriculum is rigorous so you have to study hard

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements .Various companies visited for various profiles like software and consulting ,for core like GET.The highest package offered was 51lpa and average package 11.57 lpa.more than 70% students get placed

BIT MESRA- A Myth or Legend

I loved the lush green campus of my college which takes me very close to nature.
nice infrastructure and high quality computers installed in the RnD cell. Super computers also present
Campus life is good, night canteens available

Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio is very less which is not good for this type of premium institute
course curriculum is very hard and to pass sem exams in this college needs proper studying and don't depend on last night studies
Placement situation is not good and they need to improve or else the college will see its massive downfall

Placement Experience:

Students Become eligible after the 6th sem for campus placements. There are may companies that visit our campus including Microsoft, Google, Apple, Amazon, Walmart, Salesforce, Deloitte, etc Highest Package is 50LPA (Microsoft) which is on campus and off campus is 1 Crore PA from Atlassian. Avg package is 15 LPA. Approx 90% cse students get placed and among other students the ratio falls to 70%. My plan is to work in a big MNC and make my parents proud

AN OVERVIEW OF BIT MESRA RANCHI

Likes

Great atmosphere and fresh air with lush greenery. Campus is full of greenery.
Separate buildings for different purpose and responsive faculties
Good availablity of all requirements in the canteen .

Dislikes

Rooms are of small size and have no option of single accomodation
There is no strictness about evening timing to remain in hostels.
More than 50 percent students are of home state ... This percentage should be less ... Reservation for home state students should be less

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for the internship and from 7th onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. College have good placement statistics in CSE branch for last two years where average package is about 18 lpa. Almost all companies visit the college for campus placements and last year highest package is 57lpa in CSE branch. Some seniors are saying that this year average package of CSE will be about 24 lpa Which seems quite good.

BIT Mesra- Where the ambitions meet reality.

Likes

Great college culture, very friendly people, and alot of festivals keep happening.
The best campus possible, very beautiful, surrounded by two lakes on both sides.
Great professors, who are very qualified.

Dislikes

Home state quota is too much, decreases the quality of students.
Branches like food technology and QEDS are not relevant to the college and also MnC should be a BTech course.
Shops are very expensive inside the campus.

Placement Experience:

Almost all companies except netflix and apple come to the campus with offering great placement opportunities to everyone. It is a very fair process. Highest package last year went around 60lpa on campus I guess. Plans after degree idk didn't decide yet.

Honest Review for BIT Mesra

Likes

The no. of clubs and there constant activeness. Students are provided the opportunity to take part based on their interests in the clubs.
The seniors are very cooperative and the bullying culture is not present.
The professors (most of them) are kind and friendly (mainly during times of attendance shortages).

Dislikes

There is a huge lack of information in many fields like the events, conferences, scholarships, etc.
The hostel facilities( mainly in girls' hostel) needs a huge improvement and modernization as well. Also, the quality of mess food needs to be enhanced.
The lack of availability of single accomodation after 2nd year is also a huge demerit for the institute.

Placement Experience:

1. The placement scenario for the year 2024-2025 was quite decent. But, it still needs improvement. 2. The highest package was approx. 50 LPA and avg. was around 12 LPA. 3. The scenario of our department (chem) was that around 58% percent of eligible students got placed.

Cafeteria is good and varities of product are there
Infrastructure is well maintained and well developed
Faculties are great and teach greatly with full focus

Mess food is not so good it is of average quality

Placement is too notch in the college .top companies like Microsoft ,Google, Amazon and other faang companies visit the campus for internship and placements and provide a really very good package to the students

The campus is very big. It has a good space, the surroundings in the campus is quiet good
The security in the college is good and helps a lot
The faculty are also very helpful and they teach very well

Dislikes

The library closes at 9:00 pm due to which students face many problem
Compered to boys the girls dont have much freedom as their hostel closes at 9 pm
The gym get very crowded ehich creates a chaos

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good there are a number of renowned companies that visit the campus every year. The average package of mechanical is 15 LPA. Where else the overall average package is 12 LPA. The scope for other branches is also good

The campus is very scenic and beautiful. The campus is also large enough for students to explore
It also have many clubs to promote extracurricular activities among students
As far I know the placement this year was decent

Dislikes

They don't want to spend money on any student activity , they will assign a small canteen area for every student activity like garba night and deepotsav.
The so called technical fest, Pantheon was so rubish, that even a local private college could do better than that. They only organised a few events that too in the small canteen area and the fest lasted for just 2 to 3 days
Although few of the faculties are good , most of them don't have the enthusiasm to teach.

Placement Experience:

The placement for the circuital branch is good , the average of computer science and artificial intelligence is around 18 to 20 lakhs . But only a few core companies are visiting the college so, the students in lower and core branches may find it difficult to get placed

Likes

I like the infrastructure. Comfortable seats , ac and quite wide boards and projectors.
I like the greenary, our campus is full of greens . Very calm environment availability of variety of games and a big sports complex .
Our faculties are supportive . Mess food is good and a big library with lots of useful books .

Dislikes

Stores inside bit are really costly, that l don't like at all.
There are some issues between seniors and juniors
Some teachers needs to change their teaching methods .

Placement Experience:

My college has good placement records . Circuitals branches have average placement of 20 lacs per annum my branch has 12 lacs per annum . Highest package was 98 lacs per annum for ece branch l am not sure for others but my branch that is chemical has a highest Packqge of 55 lpa for this year .

The curriculum of the college course is up to the mark.
The fest provides interactive events for character development
The campus is large enough and very green and colourful

Dislikes

The mess has a limitation on taking food like if u eat non veg u cants even taste veg
No vehicle is allowed and campus being large its tough to travel
Other than mess fooding options are limited

Placement Experience:

Campus placements as heard from the seniors is great many companies visit here and make offers the students fron 6th semester onwards are eligible for campus . The highest package offered last year for 50+ lpa.
