Cafeteria is good and varities of product are there

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is outdated and not much relevant to our course...they teach WORKSHOP and engineering drawing to ciruital branch which don't have use of it which is I think is a waste of time and they should think about it

Class Size: 220Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship are available from different faang companies and other normal companies like TCS,Wipro,tisco and other which provide great stipend to students and students starts getting internship from 3rd year

Placement Experience

Placement is too notch in the college .top companies like Microsoft ,Google, Amazon and other faang companies visit the campus for internship and placements and provide a really very good package to the students

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual fee is around 24 lakhs to 25 lakhs ....each year approx 5 lakh ..every year price increases gradually by 5-10% and caution fee is 10000 rs. Scholarship available is GP birla scholarship based on merit

Campus Life

Campus Life is good but there are lots of couples roaming in the campus which is to be fixed and clubs and societies are many which provide development to self being if we are involved in it and participate enthusiastically

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is not good. very small hostels are being provided to 2 student with only 1 table and chair...atleast two tables should be provided in each room for two students but hey provide only one set

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

The best choice available throught josaa or csab counselling with best branch was this college BIT Mesra Ranchi only so I chooses this college desioe having availability of many other colleges this college is good

Faculty

Good and highly educated professors are there which teach with great passion and full on energy.....teachers are very cooperative to students and help them in whatever way they can help us...overall faculty experience is good

Night Life

College intime is around 11pm for boys and for girls it is 8pm...still we can roam in the campus at tight there is not much tight security...alcohols and other harmful substances are available outside campus which should be closed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More

Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
