Likes
- Great college culture, very friendly people, and alot of festivals keep happening.
- The best campus possible, very beautiful, surrounded by two lakes on both sides.
- Great professors, who are very qualified.
Dislikes
- Home state quota is too much, decreases the quality of students.
- Branches like food technology and QEDS are not relevant to the college and also MnC should be a BTech course.
- Shops are very expensive inside the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is very relevant indeed except a few like workshop practice specially, doesn't make sense computer science undergrads learning carpentry or foundry work other than that C is a little outdated should be C++.
Placement Experience
Almost all companies except netflix and apple come to the campus with offering great placement opportunities to everyone. It is a very fair process. Highest package last year went around 60lpa on campus I guess. Plans after degree idk didn't decide yet.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees is around 3 lakhs for everyone, I am not aware of any scholarships for reservations as such and inclusive of all hostels and mess charges the final fees is around 17 lakhs. There are some scholarships available like SBI, smart student scholarship etc. Merit is top 50 students in college I guess.
Campus Life
Amazing campus life with wonderful bunch of people, very friendly staff and a beautiful campus surrounded with two lakes on both sides of the campus with a serene main building making it so more picturesque.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility can be improved for the price they take, it is a bit old fashioned with no attached bathrooms and ACs but still decent spaced and very clean. Mess food is also decent and not the regular boring food.
Admission
Had a very great reputation in my family, have like 4 relatives who are alumnis of the same and are doing great now, + the placements have been great for CSE and AIML/IT branches. No ragging culture is there.
Faculty
All the course is AICTE approved and has a very nice curriculum. Very well developed and relevant. All the professors are great too and very well qualified. Exams are two quizzes, midsems and endsems all totalling to 100 marks/subject with a very moderate to tough dificulty level and checking is decent.
Night Life
Nightlife is pretty okayish I would say we can roam in the campus anytime we want even at 3 AM, without any safety concerns, there are night canteens for us. Hostels are decent, there are shops nearby as well which sell everything. Library closes at 9PM.
