' Comprehensive review of BIT MESRA '

The course in the 1st year is just irrelevant , it doesn't add any value to your skillset . But after you start your core subjects you will get the basic concepts but , you will still need some internships and projects to gain practical and industry level expertise.

The college do provide students with the internship but the process of getting relaxation from the attendance after getting internship is very hectic. You have to do a lot of paper work to get relaxation in attendance.

The placement for the circuital branch is good , the average of computer science and artificial intelligence is around 18 to 20 lakhs . But only a few core companies are visiting the college so, the students in lower and core branches may find it difficult to get placed

The fees in Bit Mesra is on a higher side. For btech students it's around 20 lakhs including hostel for 4 years. The academic fees increases by about 10 percent every year, starting with 1.4 lakhs from 1st year.

There are mainly 2 fest in Bit Mesra, the technical fest Pantheon and cultural fest Bitotsav . This year college failed to give student a good tech fest, considering the reputation of Bit Mesra I was quite disappointed with the tech fest. The college library is massive and one can get almost all the books nessecary for the course. There are many clubs and societies like dhwani, srijan , firebolt , ehsaas, society of data science, acm, iet, etc.

HORRIBLE!!! If you are expecting a good hostel room , then you should reconsider getting admitted to Bit Mesra. The hostel room we have is meant for single student but we have to share it. The room is so small that you can't even sit there for too long. Although the food in the message is decent, not so good not so bad.

The reporting and admission process is pretty much straight forward. You are required to fill 2 or 3 forms and do an online registration along with hostel allotment. You can get admission through jossa , csab and spot rounds

Few of the faculties are good, they have good interaction with the students . But many of them have no enthusiasm to teach , they will just read the ppt and expect the students to understand everything. For most of the subjects we have to rely on youtube.

There is no timing for boys to roam around the college campus exept some restricted area. The gym, library and cafeteria closes around 9 in the evening. The campus is not really safe to roam during night as it doesn't have any boundaries and people from neighbouring village can easily enter the campus.
