BIT Mesra Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 8th semester, students are eligible for placement. Many companies visit for placement i.e, tata, Yokohama, sail, etc. They offer many types of jobs for production, manufacturing, etc. The highest package is 25,00,000 lakhs. There are 90% of students got placement. I plan to apply for placement. It is the best opportunity.

Companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Byju's, Delloite, HP, Dell, Intel, etc. Visit our campus for recruitment. If I talk about the average package that sits at 11.76 LPA per year. The highest Package is 49.8 LPA. The placement of CSE, IT, EEE, Chemical engineering is quite nice.

From the 3rd Semester, only some students get selected by different companies. One student has the choice to sit in different companies for selection. Many companies visited here for selection like Cipla, Alkadip and many more marketing companies. The highest package on the campus goes up to 5-7 lacs annually. 85-90% of the students get placement. After the completion of my degree, I will be an honest pharmacist and will try to help those needy peoples who cannot afford expensive drugs.

I chose the course as I wanted to pursue MBA later on, and Production Engineering helped me with Industrial management subjects. I took 3 management electives too so that they can be useful in the future. The faculty: student ratio was 1:20 All the faculty were qualified with Ph.D. degrees and had more than 10 years of teaching experience with several research papers in their area of expertise. The exams were Mid Sem exams for 25 marks, 15 marks for Internal Assessment, and 60 Marks in the End Sem exams. The exams had a pre-defined schedule. The level of papers was Medium to Tough

Placements of my college are extraordinary for the Computer Science branch. Other branches also have a very good placements ratio. Many giant companies are visiting here like Goldmann Sachs, Accenture, Reliance industries.

The placement of the campus is really good. One can get lots of opportunities for final placement and also for internship. KPMG, EY, INDIA MART, XIAOMI are some of the good companies that came with final placement offers.

Placement for BTech is not bad. median placement for circuital branches(CSE, ECE, EEE) is 10 L PA, and that for core branches is 6.5L PA. But placement scenario for IMSc. Physics and Chemistry students are not good. Only educational companies like ByJu's, Aakash, etc. hire us. We don't mind it as nobody joins these courses ( IMSc. ) to become a salaried person. This is our passion and craze for this subject that brings us here.

Decent Placements 3rd Semester but in some cases people have received Pre Placement Offers in 2nd Semester itself. (I too received from Garmin) Average Package - 4.5 LPA/ Highest Package - 18 LPA 60-95% Working in Sales and Marketing Field

From 5th semester the student is eligibal for the campus placement. Tata motors, Jindal, maruti, ISRO etc companies visit to college for placement. The highest pakage last year was made by tata motors of 15 lacks in the starting. Approximately 95% student get placed in the placement. My plan is to get placed is the best pakage company at a good company post.
